Have you gone to your School Dance?

Is it weird if you haven't? I'm a senior in my high school, and I haven't necessarily went to mine. They host it every year and there's always a turnabout dance. I have not yet gone to Senior Prom, but that is because they haven't announced that part yet. Most of my friends have not gone this year because the last year's one had poorly made music or simply music a lot of people didn't prefer.

When I was in eight grade I went to a school dance stag. It was sort of fun but at the same time it just sort of went by the more modern day music(rap). I am a country type of guy so it didn't really go with me that great.
When I went to prom, the music was even worse. I paid for a slow dancing song and all the people were complaining like "what is that @%@*" and etc. Haha.
I guess it isn't worth it these days unless you like rap or something like that.

Hehe, I'm kind of glad I haven't gone to the dance this year. I'm like KPop, but it's not really funny after the umpteenth time that they put out Gangnam style in the announcements and blast it in every classroom.
I don't really think they have rap in our school; If they do, then I think I'll just stay away from the school dances.. ^^

I'm not sure if they charge you for regular dances or not, but the prices for prom these days are ludicrous.

You should go to your school dance! I always participate on every occation my school had hosted when i was still in highschool or even during my college years back in the days! It's a nice way to get to know many people,mingle with them and socialize with others! If you haven't sadly you missed half of your life. You should go.
