I'm a total game nerd, and I'll be the first person to be forward to other people able this. Call me what you will, I could really give a rat's butt. A lot of my friends are always complaining about the Mognet Central sidequest in Final Fantasy Nine. They say sites they go to for the game can be confusing, and typically don't have the Moogle's names writen up right. So while playing the game I kept track of each Moogle and their location in a notebook. Now I'm going to type that up here, for anyone else who may need a little help on this quest. If you have any questions about Final Fantasy 9 game play, or have any other useful tips, or advice to offer other Final Fantasy 9 players, than please reply to this discussion and share them with us all. Thank you! ^_^

Now, in order to get the Mognet Central and finish off this quest, you're going to have to deliver all the letters and have a Golden Chocobo, with a few dead peppers. It's located on the top island above the continet that the Black Mage Village is on. Go around the mountain and you'll find a crack. Use the dead pepper here, and the wall will crumble away revealing a hole that leads into Mognet Central. You'll have to talk to the Moogles in here, and then go back to the first moogle, Kupo. Once he tells you what the secret item is, if you can't figure out where to get it- I'll just tell you. Who do you think has super hair gel in Alexandria? Come on now, she was with you at the start of the game even if you did ditch her... That's right, Ruby! She's located in her mini-theater. Once you get the hair gel from her, go back to Mognet Central and give them the item. If you have anymore questions, or get stuck trying to figure it out. Feel free to send me a message, or just reply here and I'll do my best to help you out.

You should add a section here on how to get a Golden Chocobo. I know how to, but not everyone does. ^^

This may sound stupid, but is there a topic like this for FF7 or FF12? I finished FF9 but am having quite some difficulties in both of these :(

I have not stumbled upon any topic like this for those games, but you can always do a discussion search, maybe there is one and I merely over-looked it. I have thought about creating my own, but I'd like to go through the games again before starting something like that- making sure I have a completely refreshed and active mind.

Wow, that must have taken you a while to type out. I can see the usefulness in it, I just ended up running from moogle to moogle asking their names.
I think that while we are on the topic of moogles in FFIX it is worth mentioning... I forgot his name... checking list... Moguta? That's his name on your list anyway, the point is he is the moogle in gizamaluke's grotto that is "just kupo for kupo nuts!"
Each time you deliver a mognet letter, you will be given a kupo nut if you don't have one already. You can only hold one kupo nut at a time. If you give them to him, he will give you items that increase in rarity as you give him more. Later on in the game when you have the airship, the easiest way to get to him is through that bush on top of the mountain where you come out if you climb those vines behind the happy couple.
