I love complaining A LOT. It's actually becoming boring so today instead of complaining, I am going to count my blessings. The things I take forgranted to thank God about.
Thank you God for the new day. Thank you that I still woke up. Thank you for my family and our home. Thank you for my friends. Thank you for the food and water.
See I am blessed everyday. It feels good to remind myself that. How about you guys? How are you blessed? Lets count our blessings and be happy even for a minute.

I love this too :] People just complain if they look on things which they do not own and ignore the manyyyyyyyyyyy blessings they have in life.THey will never be contented if they continue to complain. J
They have to open their eyes, and will realize they are more fortunate than other people and yet they have guts to complain :D lol
night sissy!)

Hi Meowchie! Very well said. We are indeed fortunate in a lot of ways. We just tend to see what we lack rather than what we have. I am one of those people guilty of complaining and complaining, but I am willing to change little by little. Have a nice day sissy. :)

hihi and am always the 1 to remind people around me :] whenever i hear "jobless people" complaining, i immediately tell-look at those who are disabled yet willing to be productive at work than parasites to the family.. When i hear those who are complaining of no new gadget, i immediately tell them-it's not a need, it's a want..You have live and still can live without it..especially if you don't have spare money for luxury..
LOL it's not that i'm a spoiler..I just wanna remind people that the best things in life are not "things".. :] family , friends and all the love in the world :D
night again dear :*

I am also like you. I also complain most of the time. There are times when I have been complaining more than ever. You are right that instead of complaining, why shouldn't we just feel the gratitude. I am thankful for everything in my life, for the people that I love are still in my life, and that all the things I've been wanting to have I posses, and I am also thankful for being myself because I love myself and everything about me therefore, I must be thankful that I exist.

Hello Autumn! Well complaining is part of being a person with free will so it is pretty much normal. But yes we should still be happy despite of all the things to complain about because we are able to complain. Because we exist. Being alive is the greatest blessing and even though sometimes life sucks we must be thankful always. Thanks for the beautiful response.

What would make life easier is to count the positive things than the negative things. We always tend to oversee the beautiful things that is right in front of us and worry of things that we should not be wasting our time with.

Dear Jenny indeed we fail to see the beauty around us. Maybe that's because we see it everyday that we take it forgranted. We should try to recount them so that we will have a more positive outlook in life. With a positive outlook we can attract positive energy and good luck.

That is the way to go my dear. When we start to count our blessing that is then we will start to have the feeling of fulfilled lives. Complaints make you feel like an underachiever which you might not be!Always be grateful for the little things you have starting with your own life!

Hi Jatelo! Precisely. We feel more fulfilled when we know how to appreciate the good things that we have. Though sometimes it's hard to stop complaining.

Me too complain most of the time and forget to thank God for everything that I have. This post of yours flapiz reminds me of thanking God instead for everything we have and not for everything that we don't have. I've read from the a book (which I can't remember it's title) that says "the best way to keep your blessings away is to complain".
And the best way to remind us when we complain is this " accept your troubles without complaining and it will turn out into a blessing".
Have a blessed day!

Hi Chen! I wish I could fully stop complaining and just start accepting what I have. But I guess I have to take it slow. First I will count my blessings and maybe start tapering off with complaining.
I like when you said that, "accept your troubles without complaining and it will turn out into a blessing". It is very inspiring. Thank you.

Me too. I think it is hard to get rid of " complaining" as it is a part of human nature. We will just minimize.

I don't like to complain so I don't. I also don't like anyone or a god for what I worked for. The credit is mine if there is any, not someone elses. If more people would see what they are able to do, that they are able to reach their dreams if they are willing to set goals and work for it (instead of sitting, hoping, praying, complaining) there is nothing to complain about and a lot to be happy, satisfied about. Also you don't need to remind yourself about those things/the goals you reached or be bored.

Well good for you since you don't like to complain. But I still firmly think that I need to remind myself of the goals I have reached because it is a form of self reward. I also believe in divine intervention but if you don't then I respect your stand.

Hi plafiz! Yes indeed! We should never forget to give thanks for everything that we received. Be thankful that we woke up on the brand new day. Be thankful for every little things that come along our way. Because everything that is happening has a good reason, have a nice day!

Dear Aries! Yes indeed even the little things in life we should count and not neglect to be thankful about. It feels so good to know you are blessed.

I don't love complaining, but I admit I tend to do it a lot. And I know that if I were someone else and I would here myself complain, I would be irritated. Sometimes though, I just need to vent steam and rant, and in order for me not to "toxify" someone else, I always choose to do this in the privacy of my bedroom where nobody can hear me. Then it dawn on me that I am hurting nobody but myself, instead of trying to lift my spirits up. So I try to avoid comparing myself to someone else as much as possible, and started a gratitude list. I just started this exercise wherein before I go to sleep, I would list down everything that I am thankful of.

Hi Raine! I think that's a good idea. Maybe I should start my own gratitude list too. I can't wait to buy a really cute notebook for that.
Yes it's true we have a lot to be thankful about.

Yes you are right! When we complain we are able to vent our pent up feelings. These feelings should be released as it is bad for the heart.
But complaining is really not a good trait. It's hard to get rid off so we will just balance it by counting our blessings once in a while.
