Can anyone tell if there is a way to find out if mylot's link carries a do-follow attribute? Thanks.

What link where? There is no such thing as a "do-follow" attribute. The absence of "rel=nofollow" implies that the link may be followed by any search engine (and some ignore that attribute, anyway, in various ways). In general, a link's attribute is decided by the web page itself. If you mean "any link which I choose to place on my Profile or in a Discussion" then MyLot do not insert a rel="nofollow" into links and nor, as far as I am aware, do they use any other method of preventing a link from being followed and indexed. If you place a link to a MyLot page on another website, the link may be given a 'nofollow' attribute or not, depending on that site's policy or the owner's HTML code.

There's a Firefox extension which will mark 'nofollow' links on any page you are browsing. I haven't tried it but you may find it useful: http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/

You are insinuating that links from mylot indeed can help with Page Rank. Thanks.
