Do you believe the end is near?

after hearing many failed prophecies for decades, another prophecy had been told that according to the Mayan Calendar the earth will reboot and end on December 2012. I then got lots of questions. Will you please share your perceptions and knowledge to this matters. 1. Firstly, the Mayan Calendar are known to be the most accurate foreseer ever discovered, so is there a rare or big possibility of its probability? 2. Second, I wonder what happened to other people who failed in giving the dates of when the world will end when in fact it never happened. Are they even ashamed of getting out for coffee? 3. Third, I really had a weird dream, an asteroid just hit the earth and I felt a big rumble but then I saw the stars, like I was already seeing the universe and while the earth was moving I was going to fall at the whole the asteroid made at the sky. But nothing like that happened it is as if it was already natural or just something that happened and that people just continued to olive and didn't bother. So my third question is, can you interpret my dream? Anyway, I am a very deep thinker I will take your answers very well.
