Once again Dancing with the Stars is being unfair to some of the "stars." It is unfair to pair some of the stars with the partner they had when they were on the show originally and not others. If they couldn't pair all of them up with their previous partner, then they shouldn't have paired any of them up with their previous partner. This is particularly unfair to my choice, Kelly Monaco, since she is not only not paired with her original partner, but was the very first winner and has thus been away from the show and dancing the longest.

I dont watch the show but my mom watches it season after season. You have a point there. Those who were paired with their original partners , they already have that chemistry established and that very important so the dance doesnt look awkward and out of sync. For others now they have to learn how to get along with their partner. You know what I dont like about the show too. They always give Cheryl and Derek with the best partners. Why is it that she always get an athlete or a guy who can actually learn the dance. How come she has never gotten anybdy like Jerry springer or one of those peopel that we all know cant dance and will get eliminated first? Thats why i never liked the show cause season after season they got real good partner and people like Chelsea and Mark Get sucky partners!

I think the partners have to be chosen for their compatibility.A small guy isn't going to want to lift a female who is 50 pounds heavier,so there has to be certain rules beyond their control.

How does that have to do with anything? Its not they have heavy set competitors that rare. The fact is year after year cheryl get an athlete to work with who has a better advantage in the acro and lifting part. The same for that guy who he and his sister were pro dancer.I can't remember his name right now. Look at maksim he was partner with kirsti and when she was on the show first she was on the heavy side. There must be something in here contract as to why she always get a athlete as a partner

yes, i agree with you and also some of them should have not come back again to dance. i think Kelly got bad reviews last week and she didnot deserve it. she was good in my book. she shouldn't have had the lowest score. i don't always agree with the judges.

Her original partner won't come back to the show. And not a great loss. I don't think she and Alec liked each other at all. It was so many years ago and I still remember them arguing. I think she and Val make a good team. I think what is unfair is that Kirstie Alley has been taking dance lessons since her last appearance on the show.

I've been watching it, but am not at all interested in this season. I am so tired of these reality shows bringing back previous players...and even more tired of them bringing back previous WINNERS..and giving them a second chance to win. I think they should be "spreading the wealth"..new ones every time...there are so many that want to do these shows, it is hard to believe the are having a hard time finding contestants. And inthis one particularly..with public voting..you know more vote for their favorite celeb more than vote for best dancer.
Same as in Survivor..they have "All-star" shows..and bring back previous players including winners...and I just don't think that is fair and get tired of seeing the same old people over and over again. And most times, the new ones make a point to vote off the returning ones with that same thought.."they already had a chance, this is first timers chance".

That is a good point. It probably should have been completely mixed up, so everyone had a new instructor. Tho its hard to say a celebrity being with their previous instructor is to their benefit, even if they won. I mean we don't really know what went on during all that training, and some celebrities and instructors may have had personality conflicts no one was aware of. I think mixing them up would be better. I'm also clear on everyone whose in this competition but I feel like some people who came real close to winning but didn't should be in it. Like Laiah Ali, who came really close and was really good but didn't win. Also Stacey Keebler (is that her name?) the female wrestler who came really close to winning but I don't think did. In other words I feel like it should have been like a "second chance" competition. It seems real mixed up with past winners, people who got eliminated quickly, and so on. Well, I guess bottom line its a popularity contest anyway, I guess thats what its more about.
