May 21st, 2012 has come and gone and the rapture was over. And now there this rumors that the dread can begin because on October 21st, 2012 and all of us will die. As crestfallen followers of a California preacher who foresaw the world’s end strained to find meaning in their lives, Harold Camping revised his apocalyptic prophecy Monday, saying he was off by five months and the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21. :)

I hope that that Harold Camping has been placed in an assilum since the day he spread those news. It is very dangerous to say things like that, specially if he is/was a preacher. I don`t understand either what kind of people can follow these preachers. By the way, the world did not end in October. Thanks be given, because I planted my basil yesterday, in November. I hope to make my pesto in January.

i dont think thats true. in 2000 someone said the world would end. and nothing happened. then it will end in 2012 and we are still alive till now. the year is coming to the end and soon will be 2013. i used to be afraid that the world ended back in 2000 and now in 2012. but you know what i will stop believing in that. i will live my life normally without being worried with predictions like this that always come to be found as fake.

Personally I quit following all these predictions and such. There is even the one about the myan calendar thing as well. As a Christian I follow the bible and the signs from it. Because I personally believe no one really knows the time or date. And when this day passes they will just say they miscalculated and predict the next one.

It really blows my mind when religious people, especially Christians, say they know when the world will end.It clearly says in the Bible that no man will know when the end will come, yet people flock to people like this preacher for some sort of protection.
