We where looking around the internet for something new to do and found a recipe for a cookie pizza. It was one very large chocolate chip cookie then topped of with chocolate sauce strawberries and chopped nuts. Has anyone tried this? Does the cookie cook all the way through without the edges burning?

hey that is a good question. my daughter did make a giant cookie with the refrigerated cookie dough and it came out ok. i cannot remember if the edges came out dark or not. it might be worth it to try it and if it fails? oh well, you may just have to sit down and eat it!

Yeah the girls have plans apparently we will be making a few Individual size pizzas. They cannot decide one wants to make a turtle topping with chocolate, caramel and pecans, one wants all fruit the other just want more and more chocolate and some peanut butter...this will be interesting I am sure.

I have had a cookie pizza before. It should cook all the way through with out the edges burning as long as you place it in the oven in the right spot. If you place the top to close the heat source the edges may burn, but if you put it right in the center of the oven it should do just fine. The sound of this is making my mouth water it sounds really good.

hi opinionatedlady that is a new one on me bu t sounds really delicious and probably a diabetic's nightmare too. lol. That is a good question but I would think that the base wou ld bake, cool then add the chocolate Sauce and Strawberries and nuts. yet if its thick the cook wou ld have to time it precisely to avoid scorching the edges unless she protected them with reynolds wrapl

Well there is only one way to know if it will work..try it out! Life is all about trying things, not thinking what could have been if you had done it. It sounds like a great recipe to me!
