I was at the Dollar Store today and once again am happy with my purchases! Everything is a Dollar at this place unlike some of the Family Dollar places where its mixed prices. I got wrapping paper, tissue paper, ziploc baggies, couple of kids books, coloring book, cleaning products and some cute plastic organizing bins. There are some things that I won't by at the Dollar Store because the quality just isn't that good on all of the stuff but many items are as good of quality as any other store. Sometimes when I mention the Dollar Store to certain people they can't believe I shop there. Do you shop at the Dollar Store?

I shop at the Dollar store all the time! I get everything I need just about and for a much cheaper price than regular stores.
I use it too for party supplies and holiday items. It's fun to decorate the house for the holidays with all they have to offer, and even the gifts for Christmas look super pretty. You just can't beat it.
I can't imagine why people don't shop there and save some extra money for the more expensive things. The majority of my cleaning supplies are from there and when I did apartment cleanings, you bet I went there to get my supplies.

I love Dollar Tree!!! You can get so much there and most of it I have found as well to be as good as anywhere else. So why not? Lol.
I have seen some people that would not shop there because they were ashamed of it but I don't think saving money is anything to be ashamed of, it's something to be proud of! =)

I agree with you both!! I love shopping at dollar stores, some dollar stores even have "as seen on t.v" items. I'm not ashamed of buying things at the dollar stores, it's cheaper and you have more money to shop with there. I buy all my cleaning supplies there, because you don't spend a fortune and they're just like the name brands.

i always buy stuff at the dollar store. i buy all sorts of stuff there though i have really never bought much food there. we got a lot of back to school supplies there. i got some brown tights there which i wore to church on sunday. you never know what the dollar store has. i also buy a ton of craft supplies there. in fact, i bought some little metal bits for cards and saw the same ones at michaels for about 6 dollars more! (different packaging of course but exactly the same!)

I always buy my craft supplies at the local Dollar Tree. My seven year old daughter loves to pretend she is an art teacher. She plays this game often, and if it wasn't for the Dollar Tree, I wouldn't be able to afford her game for long! I refuse to spend $7.00 at Michaels or Hobby Lobby when, just like you said, I can get the same exact product at the Dollar Tree for a buck!

We have a dollar tree here in town and I shop there quite a bit. I get my medicines there and i get odds and ends there like bathroom soap, cleaning supplies, decorations things like that. It's not cheap stuff like some people think it is i would shop there any day. They always have such great deals and it's very cheap.

I love Dollar Tree. I buy many items as well. I buy my cleaning products, cat toys, wrapping paper, ziploc bags, and plastic cups. I hope that the dollar store will get the styrofoam balls in soon so I can start making my Christmas ornaments. I know they sell the gumball drops and will be buying those this week. I buy soap and shampoo from there as well.

I always find great stuff at Dollar Tree...like greeting cards which are 2 for a dollar. I buy some snack foods, like Fiddle Faddle (can't find it anywhere else lol), cleaning supplies, stocking stuffers, wrapping paper, gift bags, plastic items like a 2 quart pitcher and picnic plates. Everytime I go there, I wonder why I don't go more often.

There are some things that it seems like you can only find at the Dollar Store. we have a couple of good ones around here, although some of them have varying prices instead of everything just being a dollar.
The one that is closest to me (I can walk to it) is pretty good with nice staff.

I like going to a true dollar store. It is great when I know the price of things. A dollar for everything is what a true dollar store promises. I don't see very many of them, but when I get a chance, I go shopping. I get things that I would pay a dollar for. These things are usually toilet paper, some articles of clothing, calendars, and maybe a book or two.

When I am in the US then I do and have shopped at the dollar store as I just love it. Today I went to Poundland whch is the U.K. equivalent and used up the last of my spending money as I go home on Thursday. I bought a bag to grow potatoes in, candy for Halloween, hair colour, pens and pencils and notebooks, Christmas cards, string and wrapping paper. I love it and so much stuff with brand names are soled there so I do not see why some people think that it is low class to shop there. I love a bargain

I love shopping at dollar stores. I like how you can go in with a small amount of money and come out with gobs of stuff! It feels good to save money, and stores like dollar tree and family dollar are great places to do this. I've been able to put together some awesome projects together with some of the items they have in their craft area. So, I'm really quite happy with them!

I too love dollar shop in my country. But here in India there is dollar shop as name but actually the rate is $2, in the sense that $1 in rupees is like 56 and the dollar shop sells everything for 99 rupees..lol Not done and not justified for the dollar. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead .
