Annoying commercials

This one has been annoying me for weeks. Probably longer, actually. I think I saw this commercial during the Olympics. It's that Internet Explorer one, "I feel like I am just too close to love you." Huh? What's that got to do with an internet browser?
I mostly see it when I am playing a free game online, and then I have to wait for an ad before I can start playing again. But occasionally I see it on TV. It rubs me the wrong way.
And THEN I heard it on the radio. Apparently it's a top 40 song too. Not one that this old lady would buy!
Does anybody have any commercials they've seen or heard lately that just annoy them to death? I hear this one and I go straight for the mute button! lalala not listening!

Looks around nervously. Thinks: Three's a mute button?

Yes, welcome to the 21st century. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on people.

Yeah.. the local car guy named Billy Fuccillo. Gawd is he ever annoying. He's got like that Bronx or Boston accent and his favorite word is "HUGE" but he never says the H due to his accent.. it's just "uge" and it's become such a thing in this area that there are billboards all over the place with the word "HUGE" on them.. and he even has gotten to the point where he emphasizes the G so now it sounds more like "Uge-A" and it drags on forever. His commercials are either him, his sales guy Tom Parks, or now he has Kia stores all over the area and there's a girl that does commercials for the Kia and her name is Caroline. I can't stand any of them so I always mute them.

Reminds me of the Cal Worthington commercials when I was growing up (big car dealer in So Cal). "If you need a piece of junk, go see Cal". I did like his "dog spot" though. It was a different animal every week.

That commerical doesn't really bother me. I can't stand those Old Spice commericals! They are so weird and dumb! I can't stand them! With the President election around the corner and other goverment races,I am one of the many who are sick and tired of those commercials! Mute on those!

There's one here about some sort of tonic for kids that makes them HAPPY. Happy in the tummy, happy other parts...cut to scenes of laughing toddlers, one of whom is in the process of a bowel motion, laughing.
The problem is that these kids laughing sound like demented, asthmatic, braying donkeys. Actually, that's an incredibly apt description if I do say so myself.
That's the advert that demands the mute button from me.

I downloaded that song on my ipod! I got an itunes gift certificate, and that is one of the ones I downloaded. But I downloaded it weeks ago. After hearing it on commercials now for months, I am tired of it. The commercial that is annoying me is a Levis commercial. They seem to be trying to be young and hip so they start citing a really fast poem that I think they are trying to give a beat to. And young people are running down the street. I hate that commercial.

You know if you had not have asked that, I would have been able to tell you what commercial annoys me. I forget now which one it is but it seems like atleast once a month a new one comes out that is just stupider then the rest.

They all annoy me. I think they have to either leave you thinking 'wtf?' or leave you remembering it because it was so idiotic. They have to make them as stupid as possible and with phrases we will remember. They are annoying and ubsurd and all of the above. But they do make us remember them don't they?

I'd rather remember the funny ones we used to have, like the old Alka Seltzer ones...

There are so many ridiculous commercials on these days. It's really crazy when you think about the amount of time and money that goes into making them. There is a belief in that industry that the annoying ones are the ones people remember the most, therefore they have the most impact.

The commercial that I'm referring to is actually a radio commercial for Little Caeser's Pizza. It was amusing the first time that I heard it. Basically it was saying they have been getting a lot of phone calls to 1-800-TryLittleC and that is not the way that you get Little Caeser's pizza, it is hot and ready for you. Well then when you call the phone number it tells you not to visit forbiddenpizzawebsite.com. When you go to that website it tells you not to enter your street address. When you enter your address it tells you that your house is haunted and will stay that way until you visit the nearest Little Caeser's Pizza.
It was amusing at first, but after you know how it all goes, it is really stupid and annoying.
