Me too. I am using now a cheap phone and it is really useful and the battery don't drain easily :)
But now, I want to buy a cheap android phone just to play games and all while not doing anything or for my past time, i have something to play with :D Game consoles are really expensive so I just substitute it with a cheap android phone :)
Having a cheap phone doesn't matter at all as long as you can communicate with your family and friends incase there is an emergency. ^^ That's the importance of a phone though :D

A cellphone is usede to meet your communication needs. So if you select a phone make sure that it meets all your needs and this is the one of the reason why different people have different option of cell phones.

I think it is not a bad decision to have a cheap cell phone with you. The decision is said to be good or bad when, the phone lives with you a very long time without having any problems.

I also bought recently a cheap phone for myself. It serves the purpose since all I need the cell phone for is for texting and calling. I am not very good with high tech gadgets and I prefer something simple along the traditional models. I am not spending my hard earned money for a cell phone that is not only expensive but complicated. Anyway, after a few months another model will come out which will make the new phone outdated. On the other hand, it is now safer to use cheap phones that thieves will not pay attention to. You can easily take it and use it anywhere without worrying about its security.

I agree. The primary use of a cell phone is for talking and texting right? I agree that your phone doesn't have to cost a fortune so long as it can be used properly for it's main functions. I also have a cheap phone but hey, it has been with me for almost 2 years now!

Well, ordinary cheap cellphones are much better than the expensive one.If you lost it,it is okay but if you lost an expensive phone,it is so painful. You cannot sleep because of it.No matter how cheap it is,the important is that it can call and text.I also have bought cheap cellphone because it is much easier to use.

I personally like smartphones, because of the apps, games, connectivity, etc. Of course, as some of you are saying, different people have very different tastes; but let´s get serious, phones are to stay in touch with our relatives, that is the main purpose of a phone from start. The issue is that we always want more and more. In that way we just figure ourselves, what can we buy? Or, what can´t we? What is our budget to do so? That´s why we get upset when checking our wallet, we have to do (or have to say not do!) a lot of thinks just to get an expensive smartphone. Must of us can just buy some cheap phones, but when we see some of our friends apparently happy with their new expensive and latest smartphones; we start driving crazy just to buy one for the only purpose to show them we can do it too. When we know, deeply into hart, that will cause to us enormous troubles in near future.

There's nothing wrong nor embarrassing about owning a cheap cellphone. I don;t think just because your cellphone isn't as expensive as what's on the market now means you're not a cool. Sheesh, but I do know some people who automatically assumes that people who doesn't own this particular phone is a laughing stock. A truly pathetic reasoning.
I have a cheap phone as well. It is my second phone and it has never failed me battery wise, call and text wise and it never freezes.

Whatever floats your boat, go for it :) Some people consider cellphones as a tool for communication. Some consider it as an accessory. Some consider it as a status symbol. When buying a cellphone, the choice really is dictated by what you want to achieve with it. So if your new cellphone is bought cheap, that's really fine as long as you are happy with it. :)
