Sitting on the terrace of my home, with my laptop and cellphone with me. My kids are playing on their PSP. With all the gadgets around us, and almost everything we use for daily activities needs electricity, it would be so hard for us to go back to the old age. I think it would be a complete disaster. what d'you think about this my fellow mylotters?

Actually having electricity is big blessing to us by technology compared from our start of no electricity. Now we cannot make any action inside the house without electricity. I remembered when I was elementary student in the province using small light made of bottle with cerosene gas. Compare now good and easy way of life.

hello, i myself experience using that especially when we visit our province, but i'm not sure if they are using it still since electricity is already introduced. But going back to that time, i really feel bored and want to go back to the city. Its really not easy to adjust especially if we are used to having electricity in our day to day activities.

May be we feel bore because we are comparing such time now but if we don't know or have like what we have now we are just contented in what we are using. For me I remembered very peace and quite my surroundings compared now with electricity everybody has way to produce noice and sound.

As we all are very much aquinted with this modern life where spent lot many times watching television, playing games on computer, doing office job etc how can we survive without all those and for those entertaining we need electricity to run the computer. so its practically not possible to leave with out electricity for me.
As I always travel by metro which also run with the supply of electricity.

Wow, very interesting question!
I would like to try that if possible(obviously, there is no such chances). But it would be fun and challenging trying to live without electricity for a few day. I like fishing. So I will fish all day long. At night, I will cook the meal in an ancient way. It will be of great fun. However, this could be boring if I have to lead such a life for a long period.
In a word, it could be fun if we stop using electricity for a short period. But we cannot stand it any more if we have to live without electricity for a long period.

I've watch this real life challenge in Discovery channel, wherein a group of individuals is send in a forest, wherein they will leave like the primitives do during the ancient time. They will hung their own food, create their own fire, no blankets and everything. In their first night, most are complaining about the cold of the night, mosquitoes and everything, some give up. In this test, i can say that leaving the ancient way is really hard, and the discovery of electricity is really a blessing for everyone. thank you

I would love to go back to that age where everything is primitive. I would love to experience what it's like to live without all these material things. I always wanted a simple life.

Do you know that TV series 'Little House on the Prairie' with Michael Landon as 'Pa'? I'd imagine it would be something like that... Family members would be more engaged with each other through conversations, they would retire for the day early, and perhaps even having more babies
