Well after the free lunch today ( thanks again ), I went to the nearby mall to buy some personal things since we ate quite earlier than the usual lunch time.
I decided to walk under the sun cause the mall is near.
After buying things that I needed, I decided to ride a cab/fx cause it was really freaking hot, the fare is just 12php / 0.30 dollars so it is just okay.
Heading back to the office, the traffic was terribly heavy and super.Vehicles are bumper to bumper and not moving.
I am so regretful that I should just walk instead that will take 10 minutes than being stuck in the traffic for more than half an hour.
Did you experienced it too?
That it better to walk than ride and get stuck in the traffic?

Luckily living where I live, we don't have near the kind of traffic problems that people in larger cities experience. This means that if I am going more than a couple of blocks away from my house, it is the best choice for me to drive to where ever I need to go. If I did live in a city that was a lot bigger than where we live, I think there would be far more occasions where I would decide to walk instead of drive. In fact, if I lived in a city like that, I probably wouldn't even own a car of my own.

Yes this one of the problem in big city like where I am working right now.
Traffic is really everywhere.Bumper to bumper and sometimes won't move in a certain period of time so better to walk instead of being stuck in the traffic. Time consuming and waste of gas at the same time.

Since we are staying in a small city, having heavy traffic seldom happens. But personally, I would definitely do as you did if ever I encounter the same situation. Actually, I do walk to the office most often and also the same thing in the afternoon. Have a nice day!

Yeah walking is more convinient than just sitting and stuck in the traffic where just moving once I while. I was quite regretful that time but I just spend my time here than thinking and got irritated by the traffic.

Hello there Ardoy. It was good that your workplace is just near a shopping mall so you could really go there every time you need to buy something. Oh, I think what you did while you were heading by your office was better. You just walked when you knew that the vehicles weren't moving that much. I think when there's really a heavy traffic, it's better for us to walk than to sit and wait for how many minutes in some public utility vehicles. Sometimes, when there's really traffic in this city where I'm working in, I also walk because I don't want to wait and waste some of my time just waiting. I would even think that I could go to my destination faster by walking than just being stuck in a heavy traffic. I think that I'm industrious enough in walking. Though sometimes, it's really so tiring to walk, it is okay with me. As long as I wouldn't be late in my appointment, it's alright. I could even save some of my money by doing so. When the sun really shines so brightly, I would only use my umbrella and I would be alright and comfortable while walking. By doing so, I could already have my exercise. Anyway, thank you for sharing your experience awhile ago. Have a good evening and happy myLotting to you. :)

Actually there are four malls nearby the office to choose for with almost same distance from the office.
If the weather is really fine, we just walk back and forth. Since the fare in th fx is quite cheap, we used to ride in when it is raining or the sun is terribly hot.

LOL. One of the frustrating situations you got into. yes, better to walk then sitting with irritating sounds of horn and noise of traffic. But lucky me that i don't have such problems in my area. But i know the feeling as i have been in the situation few times. Hope you learned the lesson. Starting walking and lose some fat

Well I really used to walk but the weather this afternoon was really freaking hot. I don't have any umbrella so I decided to ride a cant to avoid the hotness of the weather.
