i am sad my brother can't go home on national day!

national day is six days away,my brother called to tell us he could't go home,i am sad about it,but i have not asked him why,i think it will incress the psychological burden for him,i don't what i do can let me feel better,do you have good advice?

Just tell your brother to come home anytime he can and spend the time with the whole family. You can also ask him to have this bonding time with him.

I think what you have to do is stick with it and accept it. But I think you could call your brother and encourage him more to go home on a national holiday. There's no harm in trying so it's ok for you to try it. Chat him once in a while too so that he won't feel that he is too far away from home. Don't be down, I know your brother has some reasons why he can't make it. :)

We have 8 days off work in the National holiday and Mid-autumn festival. We will go to my husband's hometown for a visit. I have to say that it is not easy to buy the high speed train during this holiday and it messed up my original plan. As I planned to go to his hometown for several days and then go to Hong Kong for the rest days. But now it has changed. We will stay there during this holiday. I am not sure whether it is easy for your brother to buy the tickets or not. Buying it already costs money and energy.

I have the same thing with yours. My elder brother and I have a great age gap. So we could not stay together whatever in school or in work. And we only could meet each other twice a year, but the time we were together totally no more than five hours. But I still felt we are close. The point is communication. It might be a good idea if you could share all your moods with him whther it is happy or not. It would help to make him feel that you need him. It is that you also could know him well and also good to lessen his burden. Thank you!
