I mean, you DO get money for recycling, yes? (Maybe not a huge payout, but little-by-little adds up, yeah?) Maybe some you know of have them, but why not any I know of?

The Recycle Nazis want All of us to recycle Everything . These bins are there to encourage us to recycle. In some communities you can be fined for not recycling.

They Want to force all of us to recycle. If you don't , you will get a 500.00 fine. That's why I call them Recycling Nazis.

If I say murder should be illegal, does that make me a Life-Nazi?

We have one supermarket here that has recycle bins out side in their parking lot. There might be others at other stores that I am not aware of. As far as restaurants and banks I don't really think it is their job to do so. As far as actually making money from it I am not sure how that would work.

I think that would be a full time job and if they already have a full time one maybe it is for someone else to do.

Making money---recycling wouldn't give anyone a full-time income by itself, more like 'a little extra money (if there are recycling-centers that do that ... who then make money selling the recycled-material).' And 'their job?' eh-SQUEEZE me? not 'their job' to put "materials they no longer need" to good use (rather than turning the world into a giant landfill)? Do they LIVE on this planet? or do they calmly launch their cars into hyperspace for a few-minutes trip to their home on Ura-- ... Jupiter?

How would 'having a recycle-bin' be a full-time job?

Now there are recycling bins where I work but we don't give you money for recycling the items if that is what you mean. You just give us your plastic or paper bags, your bottles and then I know we take them to the back, and where they go from there, I don't know. I think it's common around here as I've seen them in other places, even walmart has one for the plastic bags atleast.

Yeah. I mean, FAMILY DOLLAR & Walgreens (and even Braum's (Ice Cream & Dairy)) offer cloth-bags you can buy & reuse instead of throwing-away plastic bags all the time; but why haven't they gone into recycle-bins yet?

I work for a major grocery store. We do recycle everything under the sun. Bags, Cardboard, meat, paper, you name it. Some of the stores have used the funds to donate to worth causes, fund employee functions, and help wherever needed. Going green is big especially where we live.

They will in some cases let you add to it. There are rules to what we do and why. But if you bring it in, depending on what it is, you can add to what we recycle.
