Lately, I tried feeding my pet dogs some sardines and they loved it. Not a crumb was left on their plates. However, I am wondering if it is good to feed them with canned goods because I also noticed one time when I gave them canned sausage that they loved it too. Is there anything I do not know about this? Please share what you know.

I have been very well educated about dogs by a very reputable breeder in the country and she would tell you that human food are only suitable for humans.
There are a lot of preservatives in the human canned food that are not suitable for dogs and could even kill them. Garlic for example is a poison and so is SMG. These two are just examples of many more preservatives that can cause illness to dogs.

I notice you say they do not like dog food. neither do most dogs. but its better for them if you buy a good quality dog food with vitamins in it. if you dont feed them any people food for a while, believe me they will eat dog food. coco is the same way but if i wait a while during the day she will eat her doggy food. shes quite spoiled to people food but the vet says shes to fat. so maybe its just you have to find a type/kind they like in dog food. i know certain ones coco wont eat.

hi there!
My dogs and cats just so love sardines! Whenever we don't have left over or had run out of dog food, I give them sardines. So far, I haven't noticed anything wrong with them.
A piece of advise, don't let them eat canned goods everyday:D
