To Gain something You Have To Lose Something Else But It's Ok If What You Lose Is Worth What You Gain It very true for the quote above, that if you want to gain something you must ready to lose something else but you must be smart enough to exchange for what you lose with the what you gain is worth it or not, cause this quote is so true if you believe nothing come from free quote. You need to go to work to gain the money and when you go to work you actually exchange the money from your energy and time, that the simple example for the quote above. Are you agree with the quote above, you also can view your own opinion according to the quote above?

Yes, i agree with the quote you have posted. You can never really gain something without losing a thing. Like for example, you want to acquire a new gadget then you need to cut off your expenses to avail it. Instead of having coffee brewed at the coffee shop, you'll be the one making it to save money for the gadget. I can relate also the quote to the sayings of the skateboarder that says, NO PAIN - NO GAIN. The sayings could be explain that in order to achieve the move, one can never avoid to be hurt.

No pain no gain, and lose something to gain something, these two motto are truth, definitely, and I also want to add something from the economic point of view, there is a very famous word"opportunity cost",I think all of us when doing something should think about the opportunity cost, then we can figure out what we are doing is worth or not.

Yes, I agree with this quote. Sometimes we are offered a better opportunity. If we don't give up what we have now that means we can't have that better opportunity. As a result, we have to decide on giving up what we have now and accepting the better opportunity. It's a risk. I guess if we really want to be successful, we always have to be ready to take the risk. Happy mylotting.

I think that this is similar to taking risks. You risk something to gain or to achieve something. But taking risk doesn't necessarily mean that 100% you will gain something. You take risk because you think that it is worth it.

It is a good topic,Yes,i totally agree with this quote,it is a famous truth, although it seems a little mysterious,i have personal experience of this quote,in the past once again when i gained success in some fields and felt excited, then something bad thing happened and i lost something, and when i failed and disppointed, then something good thing happened and i began to have good luck, how wonderful is this world!so when i failed or in the low life, i usually take this quote to console myself and get strength.

Nothing in life is free. Even before we had money, and civilization, you had to exchange something for something else. You had to exchange time to go kill an animal for food for your family. And of course being in any kind of relationship is a continuous cycle of give and take and compromise. It's just how life is. It's the only way we can interact and socialize with others. Obviously many of us have no problem giving up something to get what is more important to us, or else humans would not have thrived for as long as we have.

I do believe that often the best things in our lives happen because of something bad that happened to open our eyes. Of course it is very sad that bad things need to happen in this way, but if it is the only way that we learn from our mistakes and can change our lives for the better then it is just something that has to happen for the good of everybody in general. Something happened to me health wise two years ago, and it made me realise just how unhealthy I was. I changed my entire lifestyle and lost over 115lbs in weight, so I am very proud of the things that I have managed to change about my own life.

I agree with you. That is the normal situation of man, our situation. Even in matters not involving money, we have to sacrifice something in order to get that something that we dreamed of.

I also agree with the qoute. You can never gain anything if you are not willing to lose something. Althought sometimes we may sacrifice some important things such as studying to level up in a game or something else so it depends on your priorities. Nothing is for free, we all work hard everyday while studying, working and others. We are all sacrificing our time and energy just for this but in the process we gain knowledge and money which benefits us. If your not willing to lose anything, you can't really achieve anything.
