when was the last time you have seen a gallon of milk. When i go to the supermarket all I see is half gallon cartons at outragous prices. Does no one else think that if a half gallon is $3.75 then a gallon of milk is $7.50. I can not believe that they want to charge me $7.50 for a gallon of milk. I remember as a kid having milk with dinner everynight and my parents surely did not pay that price. We went through a gallon of milk in two or maybe three days. I could not imagine spending so much on milk every week.

Wow, and I thought $3.75 was pricey for a gallon! I've seen gallons of milk pretty much in every store where I live. Even some of the dollar stores have them for about $3.50 a gallon. I can remember when a gallon of milk was $2.50.

You can find milk in gallon jugs all around where I live and sometimes you can find a gallon for around $3.00. If milk here went up to $7.50 a gallon I'd have to buy me a cow and raise my own milk. I remember when milk was about $1.50 a gallon and gas was .36 a gallon and that was in 1972. Things have changed a lot since the 70's. They say though that milk will be up to near $5.00 soon because of the corn prices.
I don't know what people are going to do if food prices keep rising.
