Traffic Exchange, how effective is it in promoting your website?

Hello mylotters! What do you think about using traffic exchange as a tool to promote your website? Do you think it's effective? What is the best traffic exchange in the internet? Presently, I am a free member of link refferal, where you only need to click 30 sites daily and comment on 5 websites to keep getting other members visiting your website. I find that it is not bad. I even have gained two followers. Can any mylotters share his and her experience with traffic exchange?

I have tried traffic exchange when I did have a site up and running. The key word in the sentence is traffic. You can exchange all the links you want to get the traffic, but unless someone visits it wont matter how much traffic you exchange. JMHO

Traffic is the only way to get revenue from your site, secondly most people believe, I included that it really doesn't matter how you get that traffic there but you just have to drive it your way. But for good reasons I think your traffic should be inspired with good articles and what your site have to offer. So great work in your site equals high traffic, but no one really considers that anymore.
