I have always had a desire to make some extra cash on top of what I get from regular job. In this endeavor I find that I mostly stretch my time and work for long hours just to get that cash. I can however define clearly what my motivation is. What if my motivation is simply greed? Just wondering what motivates you to make that extra cash!

Hello. I feel that money is a great motivator to work hard. Because without money, you are unable to buy wonderful things which you like or need. For some, money is needed for basic things such as food or lodging. For others, money is used to enhance the standard of living. Such as getting the fastest cars, the big house on top of a hill overlooking beautiful scenery, or buying the latest gadgets.
I think family is also what spurs me to earn money, because what is the use of money if you have no one to spend it on? I think being able to see the smiles on my children after I got for them their favourite candy or toy is reward enough, another example will be treating my family for lunch or dinner “just because”.
So I think money does not mean you are greedy, just depends on what you spend the money on. ?

As what What I spend the money on, I consider myself very prudent as far as my expenditures are concerned! I'm just getting bothered that the desire for extra cash is also raising my needs. Even things that I could do without are slowly becoming necessities because I do tell my self that I can make money to cover them!

Well i can understand your situation very well and i would like to say u that it is pretty normal when u say that your greed motivates u to earn extra cash for. I do not think there is no person on earth who earns money just for fun or entertainment. It is good to hear that u are earning extra cash apart from your regular earning and i hope in the wake of earning extra cash u do not risk your health and make the best use of the time. All the best.
What say?

This is what I was talking about! You find that I tend to work extra hours and the urge is so compulsive that I can't stop even at the expense of my health. That what it has come to in my desire for extra cash!

I don't think that's greed. I think that's just normal. We all desire for some extra cash maybe because what we're getting is not enough for us. If it is reasonably for important purposes then it's not greed. And it's okay to motivate yourself for wanting some extra cash.

I think that a lot of people are motivated by greed to some extent. Because we, as humans, only technically need somewhere simple to shelter and a minimal amount of food, surely anything extra that that is nothing but greed. After all, we don't need to live in a big house in order to survive, nor do we need television and lots of channels. But I don't think that there is anything wrong with wanting to be a success in life, and if you want to show your success by the amounts of material goods that you have, then that is absolutely up to you to do so.

It's not greed my friend that motivates you but it's the need for the money to be able to pay all your bills and at least have something for your comfort.
If it is greed that will motivate you, i am sure that being just an employee won't suffice for you. You will long to be able to earn money big time without waiting for a long time.
That's what motivates those corrupt officials in the government.

Hi friend! The reason when I started with my online job hunt several months ago was to have additional income because I need to cope up with the increasing prices of commodities. But then, I found out that because I have a full time job I cannot have more time with my online activities. But I started to enjoy my stay, and I was able to learn few things so I continue with the journey.
