I was just wondering if the late night clicking gets on any of your significant others nerves. When you can't sleep you myLot like me and they look over to see you so intense. Do they think you are cheating or sexting? Or when you say "I got a response!" so excitedly, are they jealous they aren't the one making you happy ?Do they really believe we are trying to make a pennies online to help pay the house payment? I would love to here funny experiences!

I was laughing while reading your post coz that is exactly my situation here. He hates it when I am in front of my laptop when he comes to our room. He keeps on asking what was I doing. He is no "techy" with the world wide web and so I have to tell him everything so he'll get the whole picture. To stay away from fights over my using the laptop most of the time, I try to shut it down when he comes in the room...well, sometimes. But I never try to be at MyLot at night coz I would be in hot water for sure!

I gave up explaining about it to my husband coz no matter what I tell him, he just doesn't understand anything about the internet and social media sites. Once I showed him a message of a former classmate of mine who was close to me. I thought he would be happy coz I let him read it. But it just turned out the opposite. He was saying that I was getting in touch with an ex! Oh Gosh! Would I even think of letting him read the message if what he was thinking was true? Crazy, right?

I have already explained to my husband how i get some extra income after a month or two at Mylot so he understands. So, sometimes when he comes home and see me on my laptop, he would kiss me and lay beside me on bed and watch TV . I would hurriedly finish what i am doing and turn off my laptop, to join him. If ever, he falls asleep before me and i can't sleep yet, i go back to mylotting.

Heehee. I smiled when you said, "I go back to myLotting". It is too funny how addictive it is. I love it but find myself feeling guilty that I should be doing something else like writing anything else. But I love the community and the conversations that pop up.

Yes, it's addictive indeed, specially when your discussions get a lot of responses. It motivates you to be always at Mylot.

My partner is usually either our or in bed when I am using MyLot, so he doesn't really know all that about it other than it's a website that I will use every so often in order to chat to friends and earn a couple of cents at the same time. He used to think that it was annoying with me spending so much time on the internet, but he soon learned and accepted that I needed to do so in order to do my job. Now he helps me whenever he can by making me cups of tea and things like that while I am working, and I always appreciate him doing things like that for me.

Interesting topic. No, he is not a techie person and not so involved in the internet lifestyle - except for a facebook account and a gmail account. Other than that, he has a wonderful life in the real world with his friends. Well, he is not bothered at all. When I'm in the laptop doing mylot, he is just beside me watching tv or doing something else.. Until he fell asleep. I don't think he will make a big issue out of it. I am there physically and he sees me. And I don;t nag him when he is out drinking with his friends. or if he is with his buddies so its just a matter of give and take for both of us and it works out very very fine. I cannot recall a specific incident that might lead us into this scenario. Well, having said that, i guess I am just lucky. Let me hear what the others are saying =) Am Interested to know theirs too.

My husband knows what I do online, and mostly it is mylotting lol! I showed this to him and explained what I do back when I just signed up because I was just simply excited to tell him. He just said "I see" and then left me to do whatever I want lol! He does express his concern though if he thinks it's already way too late for me to stay up and still tapping on my laptop like mad.

I have not experienced my husband getting jealous over mylot. He would in fact encourage me to visit mylot everyday as he knows that I am earning here. But he would definitely get jealous when I come home so early. He would think that I did not go to work. I once arrived home so early because our work was suspended. He was surprised to see me and told me why I am so early and if I really did go to work. I kiddingly answered NO and told him I just went out for a date and went straight to our room. He followed me and really checked on me. He even told me not to go the bathroom until he has finished checking on me. I can't help laughing.
