Many businesses are now learning how to use social sites to further their business sales and scammers are really making a hit and started to join the bandwagon. Now you can see in FB many status updates, tags that shows and attracting their prospective victims to join them and offering them to earn big money just by using facebook. I encountered recently a scam made a by Filipino, but base in Belize, according to them. They encourage people to join and became member for a fee and earn big money by referring other to become members, too. The more you recruit new member the more money you earn.(All your earning comes from your share from the membership fee of the new recruit). And if your referral are also active you also received shares from their earnings. Once you become a member, they will create and provide you in FB all you need to entice others to become member by showing them how easy to make money, thus you become unknowingly a scammer too.

Wow! These scammers have really gone a long way! I couldn't understand why some people would do something real bad in the expense of others who are just wishing to earn a little extra. I hope these kind of Cyber Crime will be covered by the Cyber Law 2012. Although there are people who are against of passing the bill, I think if this bill would be approved a lot of online scammers would really think very hard before doing another cyber crime.

This people take advantage of our desire to earn, and they tell us what we want to hear, to earn big money - very easy with not much effort and know how. I don't think the cybercrime law will be much of help unless the online community will be on guard about this activity. I think the passage this cyberlaw is a sham! They want us to think that it's for our online protection but the true intention is to shackle our freedom of expression online.

I think every Law that is created has their advantages and disadvantages. And with this Cyber Law, I think the main thought of the author was on hackers who are giving the government a hard time to prevent their systems from being hacked/tapped.

That is usually the style of scammers. They would entice you to join but for a fee , promising that it would be returned to you the moment you are able to entice this number of members.
For me, once it involves an initial capital online, i perceive it as scam or bogus.

This is about what specific project/ offer? i have seen and been offered a lot of different opportunities to earn money and lots of them but knowing that you'll earn money without working your butt off should give you a warning. If it asks for you to shed money upfront (without them giving you any products of some sort), then you should step back and assess the situation. Online scam is very rampant nowadays and we should all take extra care so as not to be victims.

This about offering opportunity to earn unlimited income just for using Facebook. Once you become a member, the scammer will set up your own website and facebook account. Everything you need including the video on how you will earn a lot of money, etc. You will then use the facebook to entice more members and earn more by recruiting more members or referrals. Because of your greediness to earn big money you became an scammer too unknowingly and being used by your master scammer.

That is because accounts for social networking sites now are very easy to create. There's no control as to who creates what account. Anyone can assume a whole new, different entity online and nobody will know. This is a perfect set up for scammers and cyber criminals because they didn't have to actually show their face or their real details. Anything can be created on Facebook, even a Facebook account for unborn babies and pets.

this so disgusting, since facebook is free of charge in creating fan page or business page, its clearly that their are scammers or maybe i can call them a thief. Internet making money is so popular nowadays as millions of users are using it almost everyday, just be careful not to join any illegitimate website or earning money website as they are really a scam.

that`s dillema..
in one side, some seller admit that it`s annoying when they get the information too like that in their wall..it`s not polite
but in another side, facebook is great tools or market for spreading the information about their product
maybe we can take the middle solution...
if i become seller, i make fans page and invite many people join in my fans page, and i only put the product information in that fans page without adding in many of my friend wall..
