Hey mylotters, what do you think is the best platform for blogging? blogger? wordpress? So far I have only used these two and between these two, blogger or blogspot.com is the easiest to use. Wordpress, for me is more complicated but many bloggers prefer to use this one. It has a lot of plugins and some of these plugins are responsible for bringing in traffic.
What say you?

I would vote for blogger. It is also true that I have no practical experience of wordpress.

I think you have to at least try both before you can make a comparison. They both have their pros and cons. Truthfully, I like each of them about equally it just depends upon the purpose that I am intending to use them.

I agree with you that I cannot compare them as I have not used both.

I am trying to start a blog to earn money from.I need this so much.I started a blog on blogspot and just as I started to get a hang of how to add my money making links on there, they changed it and I did not understand what to do.Then a friend tutored me on how to do it.Now it has changed again and I think I can only make money thru their links. And so far that has not accured.

in my opinion wordpress is much better than blogger or even other platforms they enables interesting features or plugin a little bit professional than blogger or other ones where in many cases they give you just a simple blog...so i think if you work good enough the final result on wordpress should be much better and improved than blogger or other blog networks!!

Hi Tony,
I agree with you but wordpress is not so user friendly for the non-tech or tech-phobia kind of person. Blogger is much easier to use, so I think many settle with using this platform.
As for me, I am still trying to get around, learning and educating myself on using wordpress. There are also many good plugins for wordpress, so I am trying to make myself understand wordpressmore. Thanks for replying.
Happy New Year to you!

I have used both. Personally, I tend to love Blogger for doing a single blog on one topic or subject. WordPress I love for creating a website where I want to have various pages for different content that I can link all together into a single site. They are both good platforms. Blogger is very intuitive and easy to use, where as I would say that WordPress is more of for the intermediate user that does not mind having to do some research to learn how to set it up.

I think blogger and blogspot will be better for it,because they are easy to use as compared to wordpress. And i also have read somewhere, although i don't know it's true or not, that wordpress does not allow to commercialize your blog.So i think better is what i have mentioned blogger and blogspot.

It is blogger for me. I got to use it easily. Additionally, I love its features. I was also been able to monetize my blog in blogger. It is perfect for beginners. The traffic also would be very great with the combination of a good content and massive promotion. I have a blogger blog and I am very much proud with it.
