How do you spend your mylot's earnings?

I am just wondering when I see some mylotters with big numbers, I mean those who have made thousands of postings. You must have made a lot of money, like hundreds maybe, from mylot. So, how do you spend your mylot's earning? How do we maximize our earnings in mylot beside posting comments? Do we earn some cents when we use mylot's search engine?

I don't know for sure that people who have thousands of posts made hundred of dollars here. Before submitting this post, my number is 1288, & I have yet to make even $100 here -- I'm close to $50 total. And I haven't lost any money from being inactive here.
Well, I guess if someone has over 10,000 posts, then they would have earned in the hundreds...
Anyway, to answer the question, I save what I earn most of the time. I leave the money in my PayPal account on the off chance I want to buy something online, but I haven't bought anything using PayPal in months. Sometimes, I will transfer the money to my savings account.
We earn by posting comments on discussions & the blogs that are linked to this site. Also, by uploading & commenting on photos.
We can randomly earn money when searching. If you go to the "MyLot" interest & look at the images, you'll see some people uploading a screen shot of their search win: http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/7_85090/images.aspx
Our earnings are reset after 3 months, not 6 -- that is, if you are inactive for 3 months.@micha5088 (554)

I didn't know this rule. I think I did that once, was inactive about 3 months but now I am back with vengenace (laugh).

Online and offline work produce real money and you are free to use it as you want. Yes, I use it to pay for the renewal of my domain, buy books and lots of things. Good luck to all mylotters, I hope we all make a decent amount of money here!

I have earned a fair amount of money from MyLot not just through posting but also through searching, referring and completing the tasks. At the moment, I am saving up for a flat and that means that every single penny that I earn online is going towards that. Once I have got the flat then I will go back to doing what I was doing before I started saving up, which is keeping it in my PayPal account and then using it around Christmas to buy presents or cards for my friends. This means that I don't have to take these items out of my wages at the end of the month so it is a little help at the most expensive time of the year.

That's a very commendable plan, saving mylot's earning to buy a flat. The earning here may seem small but if one is consistent and have a strategy, like making at least $10 a day in mylot, I am sure the small cents will accumulate in no time. Go for it Gemma! I don't earn a lot from mylot but it adds to the other income streams that I have on the Internet. I sometimes stay off for a few weeks as I earn more on other sites but I participate when there are good discussions on here.

So far, after few payments here, I still not using the eanings that I received from mylot. There are just in my paypal account. So far no particular thing that I wanted to buy for now using my earnings. I guess I will save it for the meantime.

Hi micha! You might just laugh at me if I would tell you that I am saving my online earnings to buy a car. But that is true. You might notice that I am just new here but I'm sure I can realize this dream.

Hey Aries, it is not an impossible dream to use mylot's earning to buy a car. Maybe I should follow you, earn enough and pay the car by cash as I hate to make monthly repayments, giving the bank a chance to earn more hire purchase interest. My present car is a bit old, she's about 12 years old and starting to show some 'sicknesses' already. How about if we start with a strategy like earning $$ a day without the cents...Happy mylotting!

It is not a big earning I make over here. I save it and hope to buy some presents from it at the end of the year or with birthdays.
