does the heart remeber of what brain forgets?

i'm watching a love story entitled 'one true love' in GMA7.The story was about is about two young lovers who fight for their love even its agaisnt all odds. But everything change after Elice undergo brain surgey and forget everything about Tisoy whom she love. Tisoy try to bring back Elice memory by doing things what they do before but still her memory say she totally dont know Tisoy.
This show really touch me. It almost make me cry. Surely i watch the next episode tomorow. But you? Do you beleive that if the brain forgets but the heart will remember everything?

I think that in cases like that, the brain plays a major role to be able to bring back the love that has been lost due to the condition. Even if we say that our heart wants a person, still we make use of our head in deciding.

This sounds like another movie in the US called 'The Vow' with Tatum Channing and Rachel MacAdams. Except that she lost her memory in a car accident. This movie made me emotional as well. Because how hard he tried to get back and memory and she ws just resisting because that part of her life with guy she forgets. The only thing she remembers is 5 yrs ago when she was talkin to her parents and with this guy that was a two timer. I got so mad because she was flirting with the guy from her past..grrr! Still mad now...Some part of me i do believe that the heart with remember. When you truly love someone its a deep feeling within you kno..like its hurts when things are tough its happy and warm when you guys are together. For a moment you'll forget but I believe that feeling will come back. Something like that cannot be forgotten. But hey!..scientifically tthe brain has all control..so if the brain is malfunctioning then there's no guarantee those feelings will find their place at all..
