At first I didn't mind submit or just skip tags. Sometimes I take time to submit tags but sometimes I just skip it.
But I didn't know how important to submit tags until I proved to myself a while ago that it would really make a difference. And now I realized how stupid am I wasting those comments and discussions I've made without tags. Gggrrrr... Now I know... LOL
Have you done this when you were still new in mylot? To newbies do you skip or submit tags?

Hi niyauro,
I've been wondering why my participation (the number beside my name) were still the same though I responded to number of discussions and posted my own discussions. Someone told me from the discussion I've posted when I reach 100 that's the time that I will be rated and my earning would be better and I'm aiming for that, but so sad that it doesn't increase every-time I participate. And now I already know why?

I usually skip tags but THEN make a point of adding suitable and relevant tags afterwards, especially when I am responding and need to look at the tags which others may have added. Tags should be separated by commas and should preferably consist of only one or two relevant words each. You can submit up to 10 tags.
In case anyone doesn't understand why tags are important, read this: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq9.aspx

Hi hestylim,
I also do the same until I noticed and proved to myself a while ago that it really makes a difference. I have in mind that there must be something wrong why the number of my participation (the number beside my name) doesn't increase every time I respond or post my own discussions. But I was also thinking that maybe its just like the earning it will be credited in 24 hours. But I really tried to submit tags every time I respond and it increases automatically. Why won't you try it? and then tell me if it works.
