My husband left the house at 5:00 , so he could be on time for their meeting at 8:00 am on their regional office, a 2 hour trip city from our place. He woke me up when he was about to leave to kiss goodbye. So, I went back to sleep, but in a little while my cellphone alerted me for a message. But I didn’t mind it. However, it keeps repeatedly alerting me, so I read it . It was my husband, asking me to turn-off the water pump which he used. But I know that it was turned off already because I cannot hear it running, as it’s located just beside our bedroom window. So, I texted back saying that he turned it off already. He texted back ok, and that he was just checking. Oh my, I wasn’t able to sleep anymore.

He might have checked if you were still around, I guess. Or he was telling you the truth as many husbands are nowadays becoming forgetful. Like me, for instance, I am a forgetful person.

He knows fully well that i am still at home sleeping, because my reporting time is still at 9am. Yes, maybe he was just checking in case he forgot. It would mean an increase in electric bill if it wasn't turned off, that's why.

Oh, the disadvantages of being married! Just kidding! Fortunately you were there and could have prevented water wastage if it weren't turned off. Unfortunately for you, you had to cut short your sleep. I'd say, love has its sacrifices. But you two are really sweet.

Yes, love has its sacrifices indeed. But when you were unnecessarily awakened , i think you couldn't help but be annoyed. Though, i know that he has already turned it off and was just checking, because he is one guy who insures everything is alright.

Well just making sure that it is already turn off just like my mom who used to check again the iron once someone use it to double check and to avoid burn. If was awaken from sleep,I also have a hard time going back again not unless that I am super tired.

Well, i am that way too though. But i have never awakened him like that to be able to check on something. I can understand why he feels that way, because if the electric water pump would have been forgotten to be turned off, it will consume a lot of electricity bill.

Oh i had been in that situation before and i really hated the fact that i couldn't get back to sleep. Especially if i had a rough night prior to that. It would turn me into a monster the whole day and i would vent my anger to my husband lol!

Well, had my husband been there, i would have ranted on him too! And i can understand why you feel that way, because it's how we all feel when we were awakened unnecessarily.
