credit card confusion..

card - credit card
September 27, 2012 10:18am CST
I just recently got a new credit card. I wanted something that I could make emergency purchases on without having to use my own money. It says that it is 0% interest until September 2013.. but I’m a little confused. Does this mean no internet on purchases, in the sense I can spend the money on the card, and then have no interest until next year, meaning I can just make the minimum payments every month? What do you think of this?

It is strange. Since you have the credit card and there shouldn't be money inside the credit card. The money is zero. Even though, we can still use the credit card to buy something we want according to your credit. For example, your bank may give you USD1000 as a credit at the beginning. Namely if you don't spend more than USD1000, it will be fine. Otherwise you can't use the credit card to buy something since the amount is more than your credit. You just need to return the money to the bank about a month later before it starts to charge you extra money.

generally its from 30 to 90 days depends upon your service provider. but you can clarify your doubts at bank customer desk. and also tell which card did you buy so if anyone us have information about it then we can share.

Carefully read the terms and condition of the credit card company. I don't believe any bank or credit house can afford to give money to anyone without interest for a single day. Use the credit card very wisely and pay outstanding before due date . Personally I won't think to buy a credit card because of misbehavior and wrong charges taken by some banks in my area from the credit card holders.

Hi chicks! Different companies offered different promotional packages and I'm sure that was written on the terms and guidelines when you get your card. I also have a credit card and when you pay on or before the due date, the company will not charge you any interest. They will only charge you interest if your were not able to pay the whole amount during due date. But the computation of interest will only be based on the remaining amount. There are also items with a tag 0% interest at the malls and payable for several months. I also take the advantage of having card to avail of these promos.

Yes thats exactly what that means. We have done it a couple of times where they offered that to us so we transferred balances over to it to pay them off with no interest.
