I kinda felt the same as you. What exactly did you dislike about the movie? For me it was the character's actions and reactions that annoyed me through the movie. Especially how they just assumed some things and then believed them to be the facts, like the engineers created us. Our DNA is pretty similar to theirs but that don't mean we come from them. Maybe it's just that we both evolved in similar circumstances and environment. They use earth like atmosphere in the ships so their home planet must be very similar to earth. But ok, the first scene in the movie with sacrificial ritual really suggest that they created us but characters couldn't know about that. And I don't think they had enough knowledge to assume the engineers went to earth to wipe us out. Just yesterday I watched the deleted scenes from the movie and some of them would really help the plot if they didn't cut them out. They actually have a dialogue with the alien after he wakes up from hibernation. He talks to them. In the theater, David said something to him and he just freaked out and started killing everybody. In the deleted scene you can see why.

Codris I agree ,that movie was a disappointment , I was excited to see it but it was a flop in my book . I think it was bad and a waste of time lol but if anyone want to see it they should maybe they will find it more entertaining .

I will wait until it is on Netflix :-) I know what you mean about not liking some movies that are considered good movies. I prefer intellectual movies to action movies for the most part.

Their cover was so fishy , but then my friend who has ever watched it said to me that was a bad movie, So predictable and non sense. I guess it isn't worth it to be watched. I will wait until my national tv channel will play it on :D
