Has Your Mom Ever Made You Cry in a Good Way?

I went out to lunch with my mom today and somehow we started talking about Prom and Homecoming, and it reminded of when we were shopping for my prom dress. I tried on a really beautiful dress, and it was way over budget or what my mom wanted to pay, it was obvious I was in love with it, and I remember her saying with tears in her eyes, "You only got to the Senior Prom once in your life, don't worry about the price, we are getting the dress." That made me cry. Has your mom ever done or said anything so sweet that it made you cry.

It is funny I got the same story in my book, though it has never happened to me personally. I never lived with my mother, I lived with my grandmother. I got the dress I wanted for my prom as well.

That's very sweet! It was really nice of her to do that! Mom made me cry a few times. I live far away from her and I only see her a couple times a year. We usually say goodbye the night before I leave, because we get up really early and leave. A few times, she has left me the sweetest notes on the table, thanking me for coming and telling me she loves me. It means a lot to me and I usually stand in the kitchen and cry for a few minutes!

Oh yes she has many times and just remembering those times still brings tears to my eyes. I miss her every day and things like this make me think of her that much more. I have many fond memories of my mom.
