A bit disappointed about my earnings

Yesterday I was trying to spend extra time on mylot to contribute some discussions and respond to others. But the earnings I made from yesterday was a bit disappointed, which even less than the other day I didn't spend that much time or contribute that much effort. The first impression is that probably the content I posted was really boring. But after second read, one of my discussion was missing, I guess it was deleted here. It was about religion, and I was brought up the topic from the news to express my opinion, and to see other people's opinion toward it. Maybe I was wrong, it is prohibited, and certain sensitive writing material shouldn't be publish in mylot too. An apology here!

from what I have noticed, the earnings are pretty good for what you do. I am rather new here, but no more than I have posted, I have some in the account. It isnt a lot, but since I post on discussion boards all the time, why not earn a bit for it.
I have had one post disappear. I guess there is something about posting links. I posted one to an article that I wrote and it was deleted.

welcome to mylot. Giving link of our blog is considered a violation of guideline. While we are permitted to give details of our blog in the profile, we cannot and should not give link, invite reference to the profile, invite their attention to blog etc. Even a mention about our blog in our response is considered a violation.

kingparker:
I did not see what was the discussion you started on religion. Religion, politics are sensitive subjects and one has to be very careful while starting and in the wording of our ideas. Please remember to post only general materials which may not be disputed.
you can earn more in future.

I also notice this one day when I spend total 8 hours here then my earning was low and next day I spend less time then my earning was good I think this is based on our response or discussion quality.

hi,
there are times that also feel that way especially when one of my created discussion has been deleted by the admin of mylot,of course it will affect my earning too, that is why i started to focus more on responding rather than to creating new topic for discussion.

I know how you're feeling. I have some comments that was deleted as well, feels bad yes, but that is how they run myLot so we cant complain :). Earnings are also affected once your comments and / or discussions are deleted if Im not mistaken.

It's hard to earn a lot of money here on mylot in one day if you want to increase your income...try doing task or referring others or posting a lot here..You will see a little bit of difference in your income...

You don't have to 'guess' the reason for the deletion of your topic. You should have receibed a notification form myLot with the specific reason. Check your email.
If you are disappointed with your earnings then how about you take notice of the advice that his been gioven to you for years, even on your other accounts?
When you post a topic for discussion YOU earn NOTHING for the responses that others post on it. They earn for those. If you want to earn too then you should go back to those responses and leave interesting, relevant comments which further the topic. Then, and only then, will you earn for that discussion too.
You have many discussion which all lack comments and I am certain that if you followed up on them then you would be surprised, and much happier, with your earnings here.

kingparker although you have been here some time have you ever checked the guidelines to learn the dos and do nots of making
discussions so you can avoid breaking those rules? it helped me immensely.if the religion one was banned I would bet you put in some comments that could be considered flaming as religion is the most touchy subject and people flame each other something awful.I have had only three deleted and I have made an awful lot of discussions too in five years.

I think more than twice before I write an answer or comment about religion or politics. I feel it`s not worth it to have my answer deleted and maybe get some unwanted enemies. Both are part of our different cultures and so it can be a sensitive matter.

hi there kingparker,
two days ago, i do also feel some disappointments in the earnings that i am receiving everyday. until a passage have caught my attention, that according to the message that i have read, "just do your best in working and try not to look on the earnings, as you will be just surprise that your earnings are gone too high". honestly, it is quite impossible for me not to check my earnings but, perhaps, i should give it a try.

It is a bit unnerving to have a disucssion you started or replied to getting deleted. However rules are rules and they need to be followed. There is a reason behind them after all and it is for the best. Therefore it would be best to choose 'safe' and generic topics.

its not about earnings here, its about sharing and making people discuss their positions and knowledge here alone
