Big or small, we have certain things that we are just afraid or scared of.
Most of the time, we have a traumatic experience about it that's why we got scared about it.
Me, I have "Ranidaphoebia" or fear of frogs. I'm not afraid of it until I turned 15. I even experienced disecting a frog. But,It started on my 15th birthday when I felt a big frog jumped at my back. I was really shocked. And thats it, I even have bad dreams about frogs. I dont like how they look. And I always imagine that they'll might jump to me.
Another one is I think fear of the unknow. Thats why most of the time I feel anxious.

I'm a scaredy cat creature, too. And I don't even know the name of my phobias. I'm afraid of thunder and lightning. I'm afraid of snakes! I'm generally not afraid of flying, but, I really hate the feeling when the plane takes off, and I wonder why I just can't get over that (I love traveling and that is a downside. Although, thankfully, once we're up there, my feeling improves.) Yes, I'm afraid of the unknown, too. I'm afraid of creepy, crawly bugs - I've got sensitive skin and I always get rashes when I'm outdoors, which I hate because I love the mountains, I love the seas and every patch of nature in between.

I think you misunderstand me. I am not scared of cats. Instead, I am a scaredy cat. It is a figure of speech meaning I am a person who gets easily scared. I'm actually fond of cats. I think they're charming.

I am afraid of heights. I don't know how this started but I remember that everytime my mom and I would go to the market, we have to pass this bridge and I always feel like everything is moving when we pass there. I usually move to the other side but my mom would tell to be closer to her because I might be hit by cars. I also experienced having trouble when we went to high places like Baguio City and a mountain in Bataan. I felt like dying inside the car and promised myself I would never ever visit those places again.

I actually don't do anything about it as it does not really affect my life in general. If I can't go to those places, I know that there are so many other place I can visit. But it is really embarassing sometimes.

So true. When we're in Baguio, my colleagues would even go near a cliff and would jokingly jump. I can't even take a look at it and would even scream so loud as I don't find it funny. But honestly, I don't know if I am just being exaggerated as I also feel the same when someone would go near this glass thing to look down from a high building or place.

I have a fear of thunderstorms which when one is happening, is almost unmanageable. The summertime, when we get most storms, is miserable for me. Even being told by weather forecasters that a thunderstorm just might, rather than will happen, can send me into a blind panic. I do like frogs though! :-)

I don't exactly know if I have phobias. But I am really afraid of heights, dark and ocean. :)

When I was young I hate the sight of snakes and lizards (big ones like Iguanas and chameleon.)They really look gross! When I was a university student, there a huge snake in our window blinds my dad and brother tried to kill it but they couldn't so when to our backyard to get a 2x2 lumber and I hit the snake on the head until its head crushed.
