Hi everyone... Most of you are well known that i am an active PETA member and an animal activist. I have supported PETA on their activities from years, but now, i am not to do that. reasons are here... Many a times i asked for the help of PETA to support me on wildlife activities. At first i wished to ban the cruel bulbul bird fighting on the name of religion and culture. I wrote to PETA asking their help but they did not show any interest. Next, you know five one horned rhinos (the pride of my province) were killed by hunters. Most pathetic news is that the horn was cut by axe where the rhinos were alive. Later the rhinos died in pain after writhing a lot. I reported it to PETA but this time i have not got any interest from them too. So, i am letting PETA to work on their own interest and i shall do my best to save my rhinos. I think it is better to resign PETA as they have their own field of works. I am thinking for a better option now to save rhinos. The link below is to show you the cruelty of human towards rhino. http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/energy-and-environment/poachers-hit-second-kaziranga-rhino-within-24-hours/article3942198.ece Share your views.

Hi shibham, May be it is time for you to change from PETA to Peda (sweets), enjoy them for a while and think on doing/ supporting few CER activities in your area. This is Corporate Enviornmental Responsibilities (similar to CSR), may be few of the corporates in your area could be interested to appoint volunteeeeeeeeeers... cheers!

Hi mamu Well nothing about this decision... I have always felt these organizations are all crap and for their own sake... so would not comment on this. But yes, I would say it is a good decision from you. Now you can work independently and do everything on your own which would see you a long way ahead... Btw, they say marriage changes a person and I see your avatar and preferences changed... for good

Hi mamu At first i thought that they work wholeheartedly around the globe and that is why i joined and worked with them but when my time came, they become silent. Yes. now i shall join a local group or work alone or organize my new group. Nope, mamu. Though i have changed my profile photo, still i am the same to you and others as earlier. @viju. Thanks a lot. Have a nice time to both of you.

I am so happy to read this... your confidence and love for the animals is good. Unfortunately, PETA in India hires Indians and you know how lazy we are... Even Unicef and CRY fail in India...(my personal experience and association with them during my college days in 1990s is enough to realize this fact). Good Luck mamu in this task that you choose for yourself.

It is sad you feel that way towards PETA.. do they have like a branch there in india? or they are just located in one place? i believe we need not join in a group to be able to do something to make a difference.

Hi dear. Well, PETA has a branch in India and located in Mumbai. I have seen that their activities are based on Mumbai only though i have seen their network activities in Tamil Nadu and some other provinces but practically i have not seen them in North East India. Your belief is right. have a nice time.

It is a shame that they would make such a big deal about our president here swatting a fly and ignore your pleas for help. Such a shame. I think that organizations to help animals are great and I would love to be a part of one too but I don't think PETA is the one for me either.

Yes jen. I am thinking that it is better to work for wildlife individually or creating an own network. All org like PETA has their own interest and though they speak that they are world wide but not at all. Have a nice time.

Shib, Wish you a Happy Married life. How is your marriage ceremony? Hope you enjoyed a lot with it. Why don't you upload any of your marriage photos here? Convey our regards and wishes to your wife. Sad to hear that PETA don't give any importance to your requests, there is nothing wrong in your decision, you can do your activities as per your wish. I checked the link provided by you, What the hell is that? really the forest officers did a great unfair to that animal and stood near to it in the photo.. A forest official stands near the body of a one-horned Rhinoceros that was killed and de-horned by the poachers near Kaziranga National Park on Thursday. The forest officer thought that he did a great thing, but his activity is a cruel one against that animal

Hi Prakash... Thanks a lot dear. It is celebrated well. No rain though i thought a lot about it. Yes, i am going to upload the wedding picture with my new post shortly. Keep viewing. Yes, it has obligated me to think that PETA is a group of individuals which has their own field of works. They dont think broadly though they need world wide support. Forest officials and minister are totally liable for the lost of rhinos. They dont consider it as a valuable part of nature. Disgusting. Cruelty has no limit here in Assam. Have a nice time.

It's your choice and no one can stop you if insist. Anyway...anyone and everyone can help and save animal lives on our own way, whether we are a member of PETA or not.
