Yesterday, I attended a 3 hour Free Seminar on "How to make money online, earn while you are sleeping". According to the speaker, who is a local, his minimum monthly income is about 20K per month just selling e-books and softwares in the internet. His seminar was more of a motivation talk and I find it quite enjoyable too.
But at the end of the talk, he tried to push his three days coaching/ mentoring class which cost a whopping $1635. Then he said he would give a discount of $1000+ for anyone who would sign up for his class. This means his 3-days class will cost about $600+ after the discount. In my country's currency that is about MYR1,800.00, so it is very very expensive.
Do you think this kind of coaching is worth to attend? Why do internet mentors who give group and one-to-one coaching charge so expensively?

flagella, I did not sign up for his class. It is wayyyy too expensive, I cannot afford to lose money to something that is not proven as money-making.

good day micha5088,
well, there could be a lot of good reasons why internet coaching is quite expensive. but honestly speaking, it should not be. hence, others charged a high fee maybe because of other added expenses on the part of the coach. otherwise, they should just be charging a fair amount. and you can just really count those who really charge a fair fee.

Don't every try to listen to those poeple who will just take advantage of your needs to know about online money making. There are people who can give you free training and all they want is to be their referral. I can also provide you details to earn more online and it will not cost you anything so don't try to listen to them because they are just merely scammer.

It is good that I am already exposed to the online business, so I know some of the tricks that online and offline gurus use. First, it is always BRAINWASHING...who doesn't want to live the internet lifestyle...work at your own hours and boooom become a millionaire....then at end it's the SSSSSS they want.

Hi friend, this is another tactic of them to make money. Mostly this kind of persons have good skills in speaking and use it to make money, we don't know what is the real fact, may be he is not making that much of income from his ebook. But surely he will make this much of amount with this kind of classes, as you mentioned the class is interesting. So he announce a free seminar to attract the people and cost a lot for the coaching class.

I think these gurus do make a lot of money but I think the rich and foolish are the ones who will fall for this trick. Those who are poor even if they like the coaching class cannot do anything, so they're saved by the bell! Being poor has its benefits sometimes..
I understand that some people cannot learn things by just reading and listening from the internet, they want real experience, face-to-face internet mentoring, so the so-called internet gurus like the one I met last night, are opportunity seekers. They make this coaching class sound as a hot cake thing so they charge fees between 4 - 5 figures. They make this online business a millionaire thing, telling people he can coach his students until they're successful.
Ooops did I tell you that the mentor last night even gave a life-time guarantee...teach until you are good....one gimmick after another. (*yawning*)

Yes Hamid, that's a lot of money but there are gurus who charge even higher than the guru I met last night. I don't know why people still sign up even though it's so expensive.

On my opinion...that person is taking advantage of your necessities for money. You know you can learn by your self. Search in the internet and study it by yourself. I know many useful information. So don't pay that very expensive coaching...you can learn better by discovering it by your self...
