Maintaining decency and dignity.

Personally,when you are in a position where you are in management or even around a lot of people where you are supposed to act like a professional, why then do some people tend to act so stupid? Why put on a show acting bigger than everyone else or make comments about someone or use foul language? Can't they be adult enough and just act like someone in charge. Because when u act stupid around others, what does that tend to say about yourself?

That is pretty hard today, you know, when everything you see invites you to some materialistic living, when everyone you see is sucked up in such a life. It is rather hard to remain as you should be. I guess whatever we do need to keep ourselves grounded, that starts with our faith, our fear, and our love for God. When we have faith, no matter what troubles us, we are strong, we are able to press on and move forward. our faith keeps us the reality check that we know there are temptations in the world, and everybody is doing it! but we know ourselves and we won't let ourselves be corrupted, our faith and our love for God would keep us in check and will always return us to the right path of being decent and living a life with dignity...

It realy depends on each individual. Some people don't have any issues for acting 'different'. Whatever I do, I always put others in consideration. So I always think: 'Will it bother people around me if I do this?' So I always think twice before doing something stupid. I also have some conscious. That being said, I do have some basics of good and bad. Sometimes, it depends on how parents educate their children. After all, the parents are important role models for the children. So if someone acts indecently, then there's a possibility that their parents may be the same. May I look up into heaven to that day without a bit of shame.

Hiya angelp., So complicated that is true and full of influences of all kinds. I fear more for the young children not so much for myself as we know what is what and what can happen. Me I live day to day only and do not watch much of anything in particular always trying to be outside in the fresh air when I can and listening to classical music or new age music which really is only relaxing music so when I have a chance I go on my own to be on my own which I would say is almost a luxury now but its because I make the time for myself otherwise I would not have any at all. Not very interesting to anyone really what I do. I keep away from gossip programs and the news which is always the same rubbish over and over. I learn more about the World on here than what I would on the News which is always full of economic jargon and nothing else.xxx
