can you underatnd the people who just favorite books without reading?

Im a bookworm and I love to buy new books, every month I always save my money to buy new books but you wont see me reading my book in public, I like to read my books in my room alone so I can concentrate and enjoy what is the book about. I dont like reading in a noisy place and I dont like when people interupt my reading so thats why I like reading in my room only or in a quiet place. Maybe some people love to read when they are alone so you dont know that they actually read the book they bought but maybe some people love buying books for collection only and never read it hahaha. I have so many books and I put it in bookshelf, I buy different kind of books from literature, tutorial books, novel, etc. I read it all not just for decoration.

I love to read books, but I have noticed that some people buy books for their covers as if they were a picture to place on a wall. In fact, you can see in some decorating magazines that they place beautiful books as part of the decoration. My books are usually not beautiful. The more I read them, the more worn out they become. Each person has their taste.

Yeah, I do come across people who just love to collect books, and completely don't read them. Those are mostly encyclopedia. They are thick and expensive and placed in the sitting room conspicuvously

I suppose it's too strange to buy book and don't read it.. for what.. just to make your own home library biger..??
