How can I defined purpose?

Everytime I meet my friend we always says " the purpose " and I'm not in doubt about it. We know both that we have purpose why we are in this world.

I have been having trouble finding purpose in my life for awhile now. I think purpose means many things to many people. I would like to find my purpose for life and relationships. I think that not being able to find my purpose means I feel lost in this world. It makes me so sad some days. Purpose to me is about knowing who I am and what i need in my relationships with other people.
