my writings always get rejected what should i do:(?

I am trying to write now adays in clas and everytime when I come up with an article with imense hard work and on what i put alot of time,either it exceeds its word limit or got rejected:((. I am not getting how to work on them. I am working for hour trying to produce my own writting and not copying from here and there still i can not make it:(. what should i do to make my articles being like by my teacher:(? Do you write? what are the things you keep in mind whle writing?
