Why do some people remain single?

People remain single for some reasons like maybe they are afraid of relationships or they do not have time because they are too busy taking care of their family's problems.Well,I have an uncle like that we always say to him to find a girl and get married but he is so busy of his business, work and he helps his siblings and his nephews and nieces.He is like a second father to us and we are more closer to him than to our fathers.Sometimes we have been thinking that he is a gay and maybe he really is but we are really thankful because we have an uncle like him.What do you think guys?Why some people remain single?

People are single either by choice or by circumstances. And there's nothing with that, it's okay. Pretty much the same way that it's okay that some people are married.
Single people chose that path because they're not just the marrying type, they have religious beliefs or vows to serve God (think of priests and nuns), or simply because they just enjoy life as a single person.
Some people, like my aunt, she would have been married by now if only her friend and her fiancé didn't betray her. She find it hard to recover and she sure don't want anyone to serve as a rebound. Before she knew it, it is already too late, marriage is too late for her.

I am single by choice because I like to be single. Actually have not found anyone that I thought I could be in a relationship with so I rather be single than just settle. Been single for so long do not really want a close relationship with anyone. There is a lot of freedom being single so know that your uncle is single by choice and just enjoy who he is.
