Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham are the big winners of this weekend. Chelsea beating Arsenal at Emirates, Everton continuing their fantastic run and moving to second in the table with a 3-1 win, while Tottenham broke their long jinx against Man United beating them at their home ground for the first time since 1989. Man City kept up their defense of the title with a very hard fought win against Fulham.
The big losers of the weekend were of course Arsenal and Man United and both clubs title aspirations for this year is already in scrutiny.
Cheers!

MU and Arsenal is the big loser..
but don`t worry Arsenal still have chance for getting the winner of EPL
i don`t think Chelsea is special..they are effective and a bit luck...
What`s wrong with MU??
and this season, Mancini feel it`s not easy for defending their tittle..Money isn`t guarantee for his team

Actually it is very surprising why Sir Alex feels reluctant to play Van Persie and Rooney together. When they play together Man United looks unstoppable like in the second half against Tottenham. They just left so much to do in the second half being behind 2-0 that they could not overturn the result.
Hopefully going forward he will play both Van Persie and Rooney together.
Cheers!

Yes, you are right, these teams have really collected big points this weekend, especially Chelsea and Tottenham who have won away from home in important games, against Arsenal and United, which makes the last teams the losers of this matchday. I wasn't expecting Arsenal to lose at home to Chelsea and from what I have seen(20 minutes from the game) and after talking to Arsenal fans, the win was deserved for Chelsea.
As for United, I think there are big problems in their defense, and, on the other hand, Tottenham starts to play well under AVB, one of the most talented coaches in the world, in my opinion.
I was wishing other resulst in Arsenal-Chelsea and Fulha-City, but it seems that both of the teams are very good, especially Chelsea, which is a team full of luck, when they are not playing good, but this was not the case.

The troubles for Arsenal in the back are again beginning to hurt. I think they are extremely vulnerable against set pieces and that is a big drawback for a team with title aspirations.
As far as AVB, the emotions really showed at the end of the match where AVB was definitely over the moon.
Cheers!

Yes, and these things are very hard to be corrected during a season, because there is not too much time to train specific things over and over again. But I consider that Arsenal is on the right track, and after the Financial Fair Play will start punishing the other teams, they will be able to fight for titles with real chances again.

I am a supporter of Everton, honestly I could not expect them to be one of early pace setters and sitting on the 2nd spot at the moment. As for the rest of the rest, I think man u have an ageing squad and the really need to look into their midfield if they want to mount a serious challenge on the title.
I think the best chance for the title is Chelsea, they were strong last season and they have added some good players to their team. Arsenal too good some decent signings to their team but their defence is the question. Never discount man u as they can turn on the heat when they need too. But man city is the disappointment, they have a strong team, but I guess they need to work together more before they can be a force like last season

Everton are generally notoriously slow starters. So by their standard this is a fantastic start to the season.
As far as Man U is concerned, I agree with your comment with Paul Scholes still their best midfield, then Giggsy and then the rest. It took Carrick 40 minutes to get his first tackle in against Tottenham!!
Cheers!

Losing at home is a rarity of clubs like Man Utd, especially against non title challenger. They had been lucky for the past few games and the luck eventually run out. As for Arsenal, I have predicted a four points haul against Man City and Chelsea but it is not to be. For Everton, they are on fire now. With Jelavic, Miralles and supported by Fellani, they have a strikeforce that was missing in the past few seasons. Defending was not an issue for them, attacking was. And with the issue solved, they have a chance of gate crashing the top four.
