Do tasks in myLot really gives you extra earnings?

I am new here so i have not did any tasks. I looked at tasks once and they seemed to require to much time and many things to do for money. I will stick with discussions for now because i like to communicate with people and make friends.

When tasks are frist launch, everyone has been very active on it and I should say the tasks are really interesting at that time. I got paid many times during the launching - even months after that.. The tasks are always easily done - you have to be fast or else the other mylotters will be the first to do it and you will be left behind. Lately I noticed there;s nothing interesting for me,. At least for me, I am saying that as I have been monitoring for weeks and I can't seem to find a task that I am inclined to do. Better yet, we can still stick to discussions. You free your mind, express yourself in the many varied topics and you get to exercise your brain and earn. Have a good day powerpuff!

I have completede quite a few tasks mostly writing articles. Most of those task creators are not to be seen here these days. I earned quite a bit through those tasks. If your task is under 'pending' then you may have to wait for their approval. If even after several days you do not get any confirmation then you can write to GoAskAlice about it.

Yes mylot tasks gives extra money but very less the task uploader at least provide some guanine payment. I not interested to complete the task in mylot because task is long and money is less. I am interested only conversation via discussion and responses.

Yes, they are paying. I have tried it once and I just sign up on this website, after it has been verified, I have an additional $0.02 in my earning! Not bad.

I think task is fun and also provides extra earnings. I do think that tasks do paid. I also got couple of times paid with tasks. I had tried before and got paid lot of time before.

powerpuffgirls I saw the tasks dashboard. there is no interesting task in it. Earlier we use to get article writing tasks. Now such tasks are not given. If the task you submitted is not accepted/rejected you will get a mail.

I have actually done a few tasks on mylot and most of them have paid me. I remember a time when I got paid $6.00 for doing one simple easy task (the user was generous, I don't think any other users will be giving out $6.00 tasks any time soon though). Most of my money from mylot have come from tasks--I don't really use the discussions that much. The new tasks that are given out now I am less inclined to do, but I wouldn't discourage you from doing them. When doing tasks I mostly do sign ups (the easiest). I don't really do the ones where you have to type a whole paragraph or article and submit it(a true waste of time for a small amount of money, i.e. $0.10--I make a whole lot more from triond and squidoo). There's also a time limit as to how long you can take before completing the task or else you forfeit (need to keep an eye on that). You also have to be aware of when the task expires (if it expires in just a few hours, it is less likely to be approved). Always make sure it says there's a few days left before the task expires so that the user has some time to approve you. Ultimately, there are just a tiny few (kind of rare) of mylot users who will not credit you when you do some tasks--some have their reasons (task completed wrong), while others don't (just don't want to pay you). You can never really know so sometimes you have to take a chance. I hope everything works out with the future tasks that you complete :)

Hi powerpuff! During my first days with myLot, when I don't yet what to do in this site, I have done several tasks, mostly about rewriting an article or leaving some comment in their blog sites. And I can say I received my payments for those tasks. however, when I started posting my own discussions, I have to devote more time on making a reply and creating more discussions so I was not able to do tasks anymore. When I visit the tasks area, I can't see any task that I would want to do so far.

Well yes, mylot tasks are worth trying as all of my submitted tasks have received either approval or rejection within few hours or days. i think u should wait for more days may be that person is not online and he is not able to approve your tasks. But i can say that the Mylot tasks are an added advantage as far as the earnings are concerned. What say?

On my personal experience, I've tried 2 tasks worth .20 and worth .07 and yes.. I got approvals for both tasks :/ hope your pending tasks will be approved the moment the creator gets online and see you have submitted complete ;)
