I've Got Red Star Nine Right My Profile

I was wondering how this red star right before of my profile works, it have a number nine in the middle. I understands it is a rate on the best response am i right? But i have seen on other my lotters that they have got a numbers one , two and so on and the highest i have seen was number ten on their ratings.
My Question is that, why i had a number nine rating already when i haven't started being rated from one?
shall i be happy for this?, and what do i get from this stars? Thank you friends have a wonderful day ahead.

and I suggest that you read that information carefully because it is important.
Your star depends ONLY on how others have rated your activity using the +/- buttions beside your posts. As the star affects your earnings and as now you can rate others too, it is important that you know all that there is to know about the Discussion Rating System as your actions will affect others, and yourslef if you don't use it correctly.

Thank you Diana for always giving good response, as of now obviously may ratings went down into 8, does it mean someone just rated me negative sign therefore my reputation went down?
Was it a big deal at all?

User reputation (the star) updates onse a day and it just happened that it was right after you posted this topic. Not to worry, as it goes up and down frequently until it settles

Does it means that this topic makes my reputation down? or just someone rated me negative sign?
Or is the mylot team decides for the reputation rating we gets depends on the topic we made or responsewe write?

Well glad to hear that u have got a nine rating and that speaks volumes about the quality of work u are contributing on Mylot. Yes u can see star ratings depending on the best responses u are giving and u never know when it happens and luckily u have gotten it very early and that is an achievement in itself. U should be already celebrating it for reaching this far and i hope u will have a great stint ahead with this site.

Best Responses have absolutely NOTHING to do with the star. They do not make it rise and they do NOT create earnings either.

Thank you for the comments, was wondering too, if who are these people giving me the ratings i have no idea. I tried to check on my email but there is no notification of who ever gave me the best response. I read in other discussions that they like to thank the people who gave them a best response rating. But how will i do it, i can't find these people to thank with...
