Well mylotters, it's Sunday today and as a part of my family routine (rain or shine)is going to church...It's really a great feeling after a busy weekdays with our daily routines, we have given the opportunity and chance for one day to give thanks and worship God for blessing us the whole week again, thanking him for the protection and guidance and for answering our prayers too...
I just remember the sermon of the pastor entitled "What are you praying for"? and i leave it to you and hoping for your part my dear mylotters...God bless and be a blessing to others too.

I am really guilty today that I haven't gone to church. Sunday - People must be glad to go to church on this day but my situation is really tough. I am working on an IT firm in shifts. I worked night shift the previous day and I am unable to get to go to the church today. Usually eventhough I am very tired I will go but now I am slowly searching for excuses.
Also in thanksgiving to God, I just thank God for the blessing he gave for today and thats it. I am not thanking for all the things he has done on that particular day. In fact I even do not remember. After reading this discussion I must start today to count my beslssings this day or atleast the week I have lived before. This discussion is useful by the way.
Thanks. Have a blessed today.... Cheers

Phillip, you have a blessing of a job. I know tat odd shifts really make you tired, but perhaps you can find a place to worship at a different time of day, so that you can get your rest as well.

Don't feel bad, I know God will understand your situation,,all you have to do is pray sincerely and He will hear your prayer...Just make it a practice every morning to thank Him and ask for His guidance before you start your busy day...God bless.

Thanks a lot for reminding me of this. NO! I haven't. How ungrateful can a human being be? Sometimes I'm counting bad things that happened in life, but forgetting all the good God gave me until now, or even today, this week... I'm surely will start to count them right now cause the truth is... I'm overdue!

I don't think I have that much time to count my blessing as there are so many. What is important that I remember everything and thank God for those blessings. I pray before eating and thank God for the food. I pray before sleeping and after waking up in the morning to thank for I am still alive.

hi aliah,
I am not that religious person who goes to church but I have my own way of giving thanks and asking forgiveness. I believe that there is Creator of heaven and earth
I always pray for my loved ones good health specially my mom that they will be safe always and live a happier life. Honestly I don't pray for myself I always pray for the people I loved.
happy mylotting

Hi Bhaby,
We have different religions but we only have one faith and one God and that is the most important above all...Praying is communicating to God,its also the best therapy for despair, but no matter what life brings us, we should never forgot to pray, give thanks and ask for His guidance..and you will always be a part of my prayers too. :)

I had a headache that was much too severe for me to go to church today. I am traveling and left early for home due to my work schedule. I am disappointed because my brother is the minister or pastor where we would have attended today. I was really blessed last night, though, as his church hosted a Gospel singing and supper. One of the ladies gave us a song that emphasized the blessings that we had.

I hear you! I try to take a little time each day to remember how blessed I am despite that negative things I might be feeling or focusing on. I find that taking this time out to thank God for the things he has given me and the opportunities and blessings he has bestowed upon me, really allows my attitude toward life to be much more enthusiastic and happy!
