I was brought up as a Christian, but have never been completely sure whether or not I believe it. How can you be sure what you were taught is true?

first, God is not into religion. God is just God, The bible says to study thyself approved and rightly dividing the word of God. Study the bible for yourself and let God teach you. You have to be careful of who is teaching you because some are not teaching right. the scriptures are being twisted to suit them. Study for yourself.

If you believe then any proof is sufficient. If you are not a believer then not any amount of proof will suffice. It is called faith for a reason and I see nothing wrong with that.

Our religion is like a path or the way that we walk on. But how do we really know if this path or way is the right one? At Matthew 7:14 we can: "How narrow is the gate and strict the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it!"

Hi, good day to you!
We cannot be save by religion alone, It is all about our faith and believe...even christians are not perfect but because we have accepted Him as our own Savior, He lives in us and through that we have the power to know His provisions for us.
