What would you tell your child if their friend who is not Christian died?

I don`t know how I saw this post and maybe I should not answer because I`m not a believer although I respect Christ as a grear Master. So there`s nothing different to tell them whether their friend was christian or not. We are all the same. And if there`s a God, we are all God`s creatures. I could not possible imagine a punishing God.

I would tell my child that God is both loving and just and that He always makes the right decision.

I can only share my condolences to that person, but base on christian belief, you know where they go if they are not christian. frankly that would be too offensive to tell them. besides, the best thing to do really is to pray for them that they will have a chance to see the light and be with the lord. am sure he is a lot merciful than we ever do
