I know that a lot of different issues causes thinning hair
for women...
I was reading an article below: that when women lose their
hair or the hair become thin it makes women, contribute to
Social Anxiety, Stress and Tension, lack of Sleep, Depression
and Loss of Vitality..
http://www.the-modern-lifestyle.com/kara/?ag=&sx=&ed=&rel=&im=&ti=&bd=&acc=RNorthrop
Well I am here to say that my hair is quite thin in the top
but I do not agree with the article...I am aware of all these
symptoms..If anything these symtptoms are causing my hair to
thin...not the oposite way...My thin hair doesn't bother me
at all...When it get to bothering me I will certainly purchase
myself a wig, for sure....LOL
what about your hair...does thinning hair brother you...

My hair has a very fine structure but it's not thin or thinning. Besides of dna hormons and medication will thinnen hair or causes hair loss. After each pregnancy I lost a lot of hair, same with after each operation. I already have a lack of sleep for 30 years and a lot of stress but no hair loss because of that. I think this article/info is not intersting for those who have serious problems. If you loose your hair because of stress, a sudden lack of sleep, after an operation or giving birth it will come back in time. A way bigger problem is if you loose it for "no reason" and it won't come back. I would go for a wig or whatever as well if it would bother me. Quess I am too old to look that great as Sinead O'connor with a bold head did.

I don't know what you call to old to sport a bald head, but I sure
did at the age if 58 after the cancer/chemo..I wasn't even thinking
about being to old...I liked the way I looked and so did my children
and grandchildren,,,they were my reason for fighting through it..
But it grew back very nice, curly,,,but neverless its still thin
in the top just like it was before the cancer...
Thanks for sharing....

I started experiencing hair fall after I had my hair straightened/rebonded. Good thing that I have naturally thick hair but it is still alarming. I see my hair all over the floor and sometimes, when I wake up in the morning I see my hair on my pillow.I think those causes mentioned in the article are true. I,myself, has sleeping disorder. I hardly get enough sleep. I've also been treating my dandruff which also contributes to hair loss.

My hair is still thick and long and I am sixty. There are many reasons for hair loss such as diseases, thyroid, hereditary, dramatic weight loss,
towel drying aggressively while hair is wet, and over manipulating of hair. If my hair was to get a bit thinner I doubt I would mind.

I have noticed my hair falling out unusually about 5 years ago. And I guess it was because of stress due to some personal issues. No matter how much I change my shampoo, it just kept thinning. But when I have conditioned myself to feel fine and not to worry so much, I have noticed the normal shedding after.
It really doesn't bother me that much if I no longer have the thick hair I used to have.

just because of the fake hairdye and drying often,it causes to keep them snubbed and also feel that hair is falling quite often for sure

i believed of the stated factors above why a person losses hairs. but let me add this one too, putting too much conditioner on your scalp would let the hair fall as well. so when putting some of it, do not include your scalp or had tried it and experienced so alike like that.

Sorry I am two days behind in answering mylot discussions.
My hair is getting thin as well.
Hormones cause changes in hair
The normal process of aging does, it hits us at menopause
then of course there are diseases, stress, worry and so on that can cause hair loss as well.

its the stress factor and ideally not maintaining them properly ,it causes so many dangers.so there is a need to oil and comb

My hair is not thin, but I don't think thin hair is bad at all. some people just look good with their thin hair as long as they can show confidence in appearance and so on. the point is you have your thin hair because it is originally thin, not because it is hair loss that caused by stress or something else

I wonder what causes it as well, because lately I have been experiencing hair loss and breakage. It is rather embarrassing and it makes it difficult for me to manage my hair by not being to comb it the way I want to. I have bought an African hair cream and I have started applying it to my hair since last week. I am hoping that you will be able to help nourish my hair. I eat healthily as well from now on.

I think many times hair loss has to do with stress, poor diet and poor hair care. If you're smoking, drinking and not taking care of your hair and your body, your hair might fall out. Some hair products can cause your hair to fall out which sucks because then you have to give it time to grow.

I think its the same causes with men. I am starting to loss some hair when I am in my teens. But my hair will grow again so I think its just because of stress. I have tried so many remedies to repair my hair but it is still so weak that it can easily fall especially when it grows longer.

All those mention do contribute but also misused chemicals , hormone change during pregnancy or menopause and medication all those play a huge role .
WE have to watch what we eat sometimes because vitamin deficiency can also be the cause and the style we do .
I blog about hair care so I try to keep up with these info

If I only have thin hair I must be already bald today. My falling hair is really alarming to those who have thin hair if their hair fall was like mine. It's really plenty but I felt happy about it just because I do have very thick hair and it's a beyond normal thickness and it's heavy already that even hair bands can't hold my hair. So i just assume that those falling hairs would lessen the heaviness of my hair.
