Hi fellow myLotters.
Been sick for few days but everything's good now and I'm coping up with my work now but, I feel down again then I just thought of my goals and told myself there's no time for being down. Then in few minutes, I found myself doing my paper works and I'm well motivated. Yea! My goals keeps me motivated and I keep myself motivated since there'll be no other best movitator to me than myself.
How about you? How do you keep yourself motivated?
Happy 1st of October, everyone!

Great, I know you still have a long way to go.
Just like my daughter, I am proud of you...
reaching your goal at an early age.
If I may not mistaken, you're the same age with my daughter (she's the one in my avatar)

Hi dfollin, I'm so sorry to hear that. Those pains are normal to us. I hope you feel better soon.
Actually, being a bread winner, there is no room for feeling down and even if you do feel down, you have to motivate yourself to keep going on not only for the self gain but also for the whole family!

Happy first of October to you too! You just reminded me, it's my baby daddy's birthday, lol!
I keep myself motivated by doing something, anything, and remembering that I have to start doing things first, and after I have worked awhile, then I feel motivated, and not the other way around.
Sometimes I want to wait until I feel motivated to take action on a certain thing, but waiting on motivation usually does not work.

The thing is most of the time we forget the goals. So it is good that you have in your mind. I used to think I will get up and go jogging but when morning came for me to get up, I would just sleep and I would not remember my goal of losing weight. .. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Hello! Great advise and motivations you gave yourself, congrats on being your own personal motivator :) I keep myself motivated by telling myself that my work and commitments are my own, and no one can do them better than me, or do them better FOR me. I tell myself how happy and accomplished I feel every time I reach a certain life-goal, then BAM! I'm excited again to keep going.

Hello Edds, I believe motivation is the secret for success. In everything we do, we should always be motivated and determined.
With GOD's help, I keep myself motivated like working hard for my family. They are my blessings in life ever since I was a child.
Happy mylotting and take good care.

Yes, motivation is one of the keys to succeed in life. Of course, everything comes with prayer and faith.Everything I do is for my family. I even forget about myself.

Everyone has own ways to keep themselves motivated. When you're stuck with same activities everyday, every month, absolutely you will feel bored, and need some motivation. You can try to change your office decoration, for example the table, computer or add some flowers on the table. With new decoration i am sure you will be fresh.Don't forget to take your family picture or boyfriend picture. It will being good motivation for you. Have a nice day..

That's a good idea tedifa. I should rearrange my workplace one of these days. I am actually getting bored of its current arrangement now. Of course, the family picture is always a must.. Boyfriend? Sad to say, but, I don't have one! hahahaha

My motivation is just thinking about my kids. They are the main reason why I still keep myself sane with this crazy life we have.

Hahaha! Well, I have those days that I get annoyed with their noise, but what can I do? They are kids and all I could do is to be in the middle when my kids would be fighting with one another.

I don't have anything or anyone who can motivate me but myself. I like to push myself in doing things that needs to be done. I do not like to rely on people.

One of the best ways to keep humans motivated is the reward system or putting up incentives. That is what I do to myself too. I keep myself motivated by planning some pampering when I get to finish a goal of mine. The bigger and harder the goal, the bigger is the reward. I think that incentives are a simple yet very effective and highly moving factor for motivation.

That is certainly one of the reasons why you should have goals because that allows you to re-focus at any time. Stuck for something to do? Then take a look at your goals in life and see what steps you need to take next.

You sound more mature than your age. I had not looked before but you are just 19 bu t you sound a bit older, good for you .,

Hi Hatley!
Oh yes. The friendship and crushes I have here in myLot is the bonus price of being in here for 2 years now. The advice I got and love too. It's just amazing and plus the earnings, of course. It may not be much but it is still money!
And oh by the way, I'm still 18 running 19 on December this year. Hahaha. Yea, a lot of people I am more mature than my age. Maybe because my eyes are wide open in everything that's happening in the world at a very young age! :) Proud of it, actually!

Most time I don't need to motivate myself since I am always full of plans/ideas.
It's harder if I am sick. I have to force myself to get out of my bed early in the morning (5.30am) mostly I do so by promising myself I can take a rest later on or go back to bed (I seldom or should I say never do). If the day is started it's easier to go on and hang on. I also think I am my best motivator, others can't help me if it comes to that. Not even my children or the animals I have.
