Back from a 2 day & 1 night Staycation :-)

We are back and really enjoyed our staycation. It's really nice to go out away from work and everyday responsibilities and just spend quality time with your family to have fun. Thank you Lord for a safe trip even we drove 172 kilometers back and forth. It's such a great blessing. :-)

we do that a lot during the summer when the girls are off school. its really fund to check out your own neighbourhood and even cheaper if you stay at home.
when we took our daughter to college (about an hour an a half away) we stayed over night at a hotel with a pool and also went out for supper. it was fun.

Glad you had a good time but when I read staycation i thought you meant you had a vacation at home that's what that usually means. I'm on a week vacation from work right now and I'm doing a staycation not going anywhere. I mean I do things here and there with friends and my boyfriend but not going anywhere major like a trip or anything. It's nice not being at work where there is stress and being able to stay home sleep in til whenever I want too and not have to worry about anything, life is grand.
