The Organizer Speaks With Emotions - Event is Getting Closer!!

Philippines
October 1, 2012 2:57pm CST
Being an organizer of an event is not easy as eating peanut. As of this moment, I am having a mix emotions. I am happy because the number of attendees continue to increase day per day. I am glad the attendees are very positive and supportive and all of us think that this will be successful. I am quite nervous because there might be an unexpected problem with the attendee/s prior to the event that will leads him/ her not able to go to the event. I really hope not. I am excited because I'll be meeting members, who were not able to come during the first conference. I am quite tired searching for the best souvenirs in town so the attendees will be happy. but no worries, I can manage. i hope to see you all guys on the BIG DAY!!!Happy mylotting!

that's what I felt before but I am now positive because of the support that I am getting from the attendees and they are willing to stay the whole day just for the event.

Yes,organizing an event can be tiresome and you hope that everything goes well. And until you see that it does you will be nervous, but afterwards you will be happy. My husband and I planned and hosted 4 family reunion picnics. They were a lot of work, but fun and we were glad to see the people that came.I do not regret it at all.

What kind of event is this that you are organizing? Sometimes its fun to plan things and see them play out but if things go wrong it can be very dissapointing to us after all the hard work we habe put in. What are the souveniors for? Are they basically just favors that everyone will get for attending? Try not to worry about what could go wrong just do your best to take care if all the details of planning and hopefully everything works out for you and the even goes smoothly.

Getting excited and nervous is common while organizing an event, sometimes you will fill with anxiety and worry that nobody is going to make it to your event. It is quite a challenging task for me and probably will drive into many sleepless nights until the day is here.

Hello rberon, as long as it's another eye ball eating or dinner because I seriously don't want to be drag down into embarrassment. I hope i get a new mug with this eye ball event, the conference seems to be a real hit if its going to be a lot of people. And a lot of people are gonna find out am still jobless. this time, I would probably wear short jeans and not long pants.

Hi, Back in the days of amateur ham radios, us radio operators having outlandish call signs like "COLD," "OCEAN," "DOUBLE B," a whole zoo of objects that just grab the fancy of those who have them. We go on air, anonymous and unidentified but the distinct "audio" we only get and tag as the personality of that distant speaker. So some witty operator would do an invitation for an "eyeball" that is to see that disembodied voice over the PTT set in person. When text messaging came on, the same "eyeball" event also took place. And now this. I haven't gone to one since my radio op days, eyeballing only those I really know. Maybe this time around, I would go but the distance and the circumstances has conspired to make me just another disembodied personality here on the worldwide web. I'll be sending my best regards and hopes of a successful "eyeball" event of the year to all fellow citizens out there. Please remember me in your roll call even if I'm not around. Makes me happy wherever I may be.

From what I can see you have quite a number of attendees already... Everything should be fine as I know you have some fun loving and great myLotters attending. Even those of us who are not able to be physically present are supporting this event. Good job in initiating and organizing it... Most success to it and all the best...
