Be it A delivery or the buildings management or a neighbor, info not like incessant door bell ringing. Unless it is an emergency just ring nicely please. I don't see why they must knock and ring and ring. I have a cellphone and if I invited you then I would be expecting you and answering. If you know me then call my phone number. If I am not answering then I am not home or available. Seriously, now with campaign season, the change in my buildings management and other life stuff, I have constant ringing. When I am I the shower, I will not answer sorry so please leave a postit or call me. If you don't know my number than leave yours on the postit. I have been stalked and harassed and I do not like it one bit! I can't wait to move far away from the city. This is too many interruptions , I have had three doorbells ringing during my bath today. It's ridiculous. Why do people feel so comfortable to just ring and ring?

Hi tang! I fully agree with you that constant ringing a door bell could cause irritation and people are so impatient that they do not wait for even few minutes. If a person is in washroom or is lying, s/he would take sometime to come out of the room. Yes, you are right they could call at your cell to know your position. I think some people are incorrigible and we just can not help it. Excellent discussion.

Hi friend, we will get irritation with this kind of continuous bell ringing activities, as you mentioned they may try to our cell phone to know about our availability instead of ringing the bells, but most of the persons will knock the door and ring the bell continuously even after we give a reply to them

Impatience. People that are that impatient bug me. I am glad I don't live in those kind of apartments. I live in a low income apartment complex. The apartments are set up like army baracks in a line. So they just ring our door bell. I don't have a cell phone so no texts and if you can't leaave a voice mail on my landline phone then you don't want to talk to me very badly. Hehe

I covered up our door bell outside with a piece of paper hoping the delivery men would just leave the package outside and not ring the doorbell and walk away like they normally do. The dogs bark out freaking and my luck my daughter was in the middle of a nap. Sounds like you have a lot of annoying ringing going on that would drive me nuts!
